Superb achievement from Malcolm at Lime Kiln Leisure Centre to finish the Swim Challenge this year!

🏊🏼⭐️ Congratulations Malcom - amazing achievement ⭐️🏊🏼

Malcom has completed the Wiltshire Council 2026 Swim Challenge, swimming an incredible 102 miles, that’s 6,528 lengths, in just 5 months! 💪🏊🏼

After being off work for 3 years due to health issues, swimming has become a vital outlet for both his physical and mental wellbeing, making this achievement even more inspiring.

His determination has been truly remarkable, and everyone at Lime Kiln is incredibly proud of what Malcom has accomplished. We couldn’t wait to present him his certificate 💙

Malcom has also used this challenge to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. After losing his dad to Alzheimer’s 4 years ago and with his mother-in-law recently diagnosed with dementia, this cause is especially close to his heart. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.

Us Girls – Melksham 🙏🏼

We’ve had a brilliant first 6 weeks at our regular Us Girls session in Melksham, with numbers growing week by week 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us so far - we’ve absolutely loved it!

There are still plenty of spaces available, so why not come along and get involved? These inclusive, girls-only sessions offer free sport and physical activity in a relaxed, friendly environment. It’s a great way to make friends, try something new, and get active 💪

Bemerton Heath Healthy Man 💪

Five weeks in and the group have already tried a wide range of activities including American football, hockey, football, table tennis, rugby frisbee and boxing 🙌

A key part of the programme is the weekly healthy lifestyle workshops that take place after each session. This week, Health Coach Terri delivered a session on blood sugar, exploring how different foods can impact mood, performance and energy levels.

A huge thank you to Melksham Stags - Mixed Ability Rugby for delivering such an incredible session with our Healthy Man group 🙌

It was a fantastic evening full of laughter, connection and celebration. The group had the chance to chat with players and hear how rugby has helped build friendships, create a real sense of belonging, and support both physical and mental wellbeing ❤️

We’re already looking forward to visiting the club in the coming weeks for a rematch – and some well-earned time in the clubhouse after! 🏉

Next week, we’re heading to Melksham Community Campus for pickleball and spinning – we can’t wait 💪
