The Bradford Premier Cricket League Pitch Marks have been sent in and we’re proud to have been recognised with excellent marks.

The rankings are based on criteria such as carry, evenness of bounce and quality of the outfield.

Our square/ground was ranked 4th in Division 1 and 7th out of the top 36 clubs in the Bradford League.

Our umpires facilities were ranked 2nd in Division 1 and 4th out of the top 36 clubs. The opening of our brand new facilities in July no doubt massively helped with those ratings.

The pitch marks are testament to the hard work by Head Groundsman Andy Noble and the other volunteers who have invested their time to work on the ground.

The marks also reflect the continued efforts and investment the club has made to improve our playing facilities.

🏏 💪 🤩

Our Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 overseas pro Sasindu Malshan heads home today and everyone at the club would like to thank him for his contributions this season. He has been brilliant with the gloves behind the stumps and has shown his class with the bat with some magnificent stroke play. Safe journey home Sassy 🏏 ✈️

🏏 GIRLS CRICKET AT SANDAL CRICKET CLUB 🏏

We’re really excited to be growing our newly formed girls cricket team for girls aged 6–11.

The team is still in its early stages, so this is a brilliant time to come along, make new friends and be part of something from the beginning.

🌟 No previous cricket experience needed
🏏 Fun, friendly coaching
👭 A welcoming girls team environment
😊 Great for confidence, teamwork and keeping active

We already have a lovely group of girls enjoying their cricket and we’d love to welcome more new players.
