We are delighted to announce that our new changing room facilities are finished and ready for all players and umpires to enjoy at all games played at The SCG. Complete with sound system and Sky Sports TV, all our players will enjoy the fantastic facilities.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed to the project but particularly to Michael Carroll who has led the charge on making the build happen to such a high standard in double quick time.

This major improvement in our facilities is a magnificent milestone and could not have happened without the amazing financial support from Wakefield Council, Sport England and all the generous members & supporters who have made contributions to our Crowdfunder campaign.

The YCF run camps are designed to help children develop cricket skills, build confidence, make new friends, and most importantly to have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.

Team announcements…the 1st XI travel to Yeadon CC looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season whilst the 2s entertain Carlton CC at The SCG.

Team announcements…the 1st XI make the short journey across Wakefield to play Batley CC, and will be looking to remain unbeaten after the 5 strong performances to date have put them top of the table. The 2s host Morley CC and will be keen to follow up on last weekend’s victory at Cleckheaton CC with another win.

What a night at our inaugural Beer Pong Tournament!

14 teams entered. Only one survived the chaos, controversy, and questionable aiming abilities.

The atmosphere was brilliant all night, competitive fun, plenty of laughs and freshly made pizza for all.

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a cracking evening. Safe to say this might have to become a regular fixture in the club calendar! 🍻 🏓 🍕

Team announcements…the 1st XI will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they host Lightcliffe CC at The SCG. The 2s travel to Cleckheaton CC looking to register a second win of the season.
