As the curtains fall on another incredible season, we want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who makes this club so special.
To our trustees, coaches, and volunteers—thank you for the countless invisible hours you put in behind the scenes to keep our club running smoothly and safely.
To our parents and carers—thank you for the early mornings, the endless washing of muddy kits, and the brilliant support from the sidelines, rain or shine.
To our amazing players—we are so incredibly proud of you. You’ve worked hard, listened, learned, and most importantly, represented the green and white in the best possible way. Your sportsmanship and dedication are what Tingley Athletic is all about. 🌟

This time of year also means saying goodbye to some of our incredible volunteers who are hanging up their boots for a well-earned rest. We thank you all for your dedication.
We have to give a massive, extra-special mention to a true Tingley legend: Vince Chapman .
Vince is stepping down after coaching at the club for a massive 25 years! 🙌
Quarter of a century dedicated to grassroots football, shaping lives, and inspiring hundreds of young players. Words aren't enough to thank you for that kind of loyalty and service, Vince. You will be greatly missed on the sidelines, but your legacy is firmly built into the fabric of this club. Enjoy your well-earned rest!

An incredible end-to-end game to finish off the season! Coaches Matt & Cat are super proud of the team's progress this year.

A massive 8-1 WIN to wrap up the season on a huge high! 🔥 The girls delivered an absolute first-half blitz and finished in style.
⚽️ Highlights:
A massive 4 goals from Ciara! (Including a quick-fire hat-trick)
Maddie bringing the heat with a 30-yard rocket, a superb chip, an assist, AND forcing an own goal from a corner!

🎉 HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO TINGLEY ATHLETIC COMETS! 🎉
Can you believe it’s been a whole year since we launched our pan-disability football sessions? 🎂⚽️
Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen so many incredible moments on the pitch. Our Comets sessions were created to provide a dedicated, safe, and wildly fun space for pan-disabled children to fall in love with football, make new friends, and develop their skills with our specially trained coaches. We are so incredibly proud to be one of the only clubs in the area offering this program! 🌟
To celebrate our 1st birthday, we want to grow our amazing team even more! If you know a child who would love to join the fun, there’s never been a better time to get involved.

Trophy Final Heartbreak & Heroics! 🏆⚽
Our U10 Girls Blacks did us proud at the weekend, playing in their very first Trophy Final.
From their very first game to a Trophy Final—what a journey these girls have been on! Coach Phil couldn't be prouder of the heart shown by the team against a tough Crofton side.
After a tense, goalless first half, Crofton took a 1-0 lead from a corner. But the Blacks didn't fold. We pushed forward, found our rhythm, and dominated the final quarter. The breakthrough finally came when Watson slotted home a deserved equalizer to make it 1-1!
The game went to a nail-biting penalty shootout. Despite some incredible saves in the net, it wasn’t to be our day, but the performance was worth every penny and congratulations to Crofton on their win.
⭐ Player of the Match: Layla. A true captain’s performance. From tireless attacking and scoring the equalizer to making save after save in the shootout, she was everywhere!
⭐ Coach’s Player: Lola. A defensive masterclass. She completely shut down their attack and kept their star winger "in her pocket" all afternoon.
Heads up, girls—you are heroes! The future is bright and Division 4 better be ready. 🖤🤍

Good Luck to our U16s! ⚽️📚
The hard work on the pitch is taking a backseat for a moment as the hard work in the exam hall begins!
Everyone at Tingley Athletic wants to wish our U16 players the absolute best of luck with their GCSE exams. You’ve shown incredible dedication, teamwork, and resilience all season—now it’s time to take those same skills and go smash your exams!
Take a deep breath, stay focused, and remember that the whole club is behind you.

🐯 A Fantastic Weekend for the Stripes! 🦓
It was a brilliant weekend of football across the age groups for Tingley Athletic Girls, with both our U10 Tigers and U13s putting in shifts to be proud of!
⚽ U10 Tigers: Battling Hard in Bradford
The U10 Tigers headed away to face one of the league's toughest sides, Bradford City. The girls rose to the challenge, playing some lovely football and showing incredible heart.
⚽ U13s: A Fairytale Finish at Casson Avenue
Our U13s delivered a dominant masterclass with a clinical 6-0 victory against Howden Clough. It was a performance full of teamwork, grit, and clinical finishing.
From the U10s battling away from home to the U13s' clinical home win, the spirit of the club is shining bright!

⚽️ Massive Thank You to Leeds United Women!
A huge shoutout to Paige Williams and Izzy Elliot from Leeds United Women for joining our U13 Girls training session this past Friday! It’s not every day you get to test your skills against the pros, and our girls loved every second of it.
Highlights of the Session:
The Training: 30 minutes of high-energy game time with Paige and Izzy.
Q&A Session: 10 minutes of invaluable advice and inspiration.
🏃♀️ Running for Ella & Candlelighters
Beyond the pitch, Paige and Izzy are taking on a massive challenge tomorrow: the Leeds Half Marathon.
They are running in loving memory of Ella to raise vital funds for Candlelighters, a charity that supports families facing childhood cancer. It is an incredible gesture for a wonderful cause, and the whole U13 squad is behind you!
