September has always felt like a natural time for a fresh start.

The summer begins to wind down, routines return and our focus naturally turns towards what we want to create for the months ahead.

But have you thought about the energy of the space you work in?

Just as we clear and bless our homes, our workspaces can benefit from being energetically cleared too.

Our offices, studios, treatment rooms and workplaces can hold the energy of stress, pressure, difficult experiences, change and everything that has happened within them.

Sometimes a space simply needs a fresh beginning.

Clearing the old energy creates an opportunity to consciously set the intention for what comes next.

More clarity.
More harmony.
More creativity.
More abundance.

A space that feels good to walk into can make a difference to how we feel, think and work.

This September, why not give your workspace a fresh energetic start?

COME BACK TO YOURSELF

If you’ve been looking outside yourself for answers, perhaps it’s time to come home to yourself.

Ask yourself:
What do I really want?
What feels right for me?
What am I tolerating that no longer feels aligned?
Where am I abandoning myself?
What would I choose if I truly believed I was worthy?

Self love isn’t about becoming perfect.

It isn’t about loving every part of yourself every single day.
It’s about developing a relationship with yourself that is compassionate, honest and kind.
It’s about being there for yourself.
It’s about trusting yourself.
It’s about knowing that your worth doesn’t increase when someone chooses you, and it doesn’t decrease when someone doesn’t.

You were worthy before the relationship.
Before the opportunity.
Before the success.
Before the manifestation.
You are worthy now.

And perhaps this is where everything begins.

Come back to yourself.
Love yourself.
Trust yourself.

And allow life to unfold from there.

Manifestation isn’t simply about making a list of everything you want and hoping the Universe delivers it.

There is something much deeper happening.

As you grow, you change.
Your beliefs change.
Your standards change.
Your choices change.
Your relationship with yourself changes.

And suddenly, the things you once thought you needed may no longer be what you desire.

You begin to understand that manifestation isn’t always about getting more.

Sometimes it is about becoming more fully yourself.

The version of you who trusts.
The version of you who receives.
The version of you who knows their worth.
The version of you who no longer needs to chase what isn’t aligned.

And perhaps that is the most beautiful part of the journey.

You aren’t simply trying to create a different life.

You are becoming the person who is ready to live it.

When you begin to truly love yourself, your standards change.

Not because you suddenly think you’re better than anyone else.
But because you finally understand your own worth.

You become less willing to accept relationships that continually drain you.
Less willing to silence yourself.
Less willing to live according to somebody else’s expectations.
Less willing to say yes when every part of you is saying no.

This is one of the most powerful things about self love.
It changes what feels normal.

And when what you accept changes, your life can begin to change too.

You aren’t manifesting from desperation anymore.
You are making choices from self respect.
You are no longer asking:
“How can I make this work?”

You’re asking:
“Is this actually right for me?”
That is a powerful shift.

We are often taught how to give.

Give our time.
Give our energy.
Give our love.
Give to our families, our friends and the people around us.

But how comfortable are you with receiving?

Receiving help.
Receiving compliments.
Receiving love.
Receiving support.
Receiving without feeling that you need to give something back.

Learning to receive is an important part of self love.

When we allow ourselves to receive, we are acknowledging that we are worthy of care, kindness, support and abundance too.

You don’t always have to be the strong one.
You don’t always have to do everything yourself.
You don’t have to earn the right to receive.

Sometimes self love is simply opening your hands and allowing yourself to receive.

You are worthy of receiving as well as giving.

I love this reminder.

Sometimes we become so focused on getting the outcome we want that we forget to ask what it is costing us.

Are you compromising your values?
Ignoring your intuition?
Accepting behaviour that hurts you?
Trying to become someone you’re not?

Self love brings you back to yourself.

It reminds you that no relationship, opportunity or outcome is worth losing yourself over.

What is truly aligned with you may still require courage, patience and action.

But it shouldn’t require you to continually betray yourself.

Sometimes a closed door is simply making space for another one.
Sometimes what we think is rejection is redirection.

And sometimes the greatest act of trust is allowing something to leave without desperately trying to hold onto it.

You don’t have to know exactly how your journey will unfold.

You simply have to trust yourself enough to keep walking it.

Sometimes self love looks like a bubble bath.
Sometimes it looks like walking away.

It is learning that you don’t have to keep making yourself uncomfortable so someone else can remain comfortable.

You are allowed to say no.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to decide what you will and won’t accept.
You are allowed to protect your peace.

And you don’t have to justify every boundary you create.

When you begin valuing yourself, your boundaries naturally become clearer.

Not because you want to control other people.
But because you understand that you are responsible for how you allow yourself to be treated.

Boundaries aren’t walls.
They are a way of saying:
“I love myself enough to honour what I need.”

And sometimes the most loving thing you can do for yourself is stop abandoning yourself to keep someone else happy.

LEARNING TO RECEIVE IS SELF LOVE

How comfortable are you with receiving?

Receiving love.
Receiving compliments.
Receiving help.
Receiving opportunities.
Receiving abundance.
Receiving without immediately feeling that you need to give something back.

For many of us, giving feels much safer than receiving.

We can pour ourselves into everyone else and then struggle to accept something for ourselves.

But receiving is not selfish.

You don’t have to earn every good thing that comes into your life through exhaustion.

Self love means allowing yourself to receive without questioning whether you’re worthy of it.

You don’t have to constantly prove that you deserve good things.

You are worthy of receiving simply because you are you.

There is a huge difference between taking inspired action towards something you desire and desperately chasing it because you believe you need it.

Chasing often comes from fear.

Fear that it won’t happen.
Fear that someone won’t choose you.
Fear that you’re not enough.

Self love creates a different energy.

You can want something deeply without believing that your happiness depends upon having it.
You can take action while still trusting the outcome.
You can open the door without trying to force someone through it.
And you can let go when something continually shows you that it isn’t aligned.

This is where I believe manifestation becomes much more powerful.
Not:
“I need this to happen.”
But:
“I would love this to happen, and I trust myself and the Universe enough to know that what is right for me will unfold in the right way.”

There is freedom in that.

We often talk about raising our vibration.

But what does that actually mean?

For me, it isn’t about pretending to feel positive all the time.
It’s about the relationship you have with yourself.

When you genuinely value yourself, you begin to make decisions from love rather than fear.

You stop asking:
“Will they like me?”
“Will they choose me?”
“Will this make me enough?”

And you begin asking:
“Does this feel right for me?”
“Does this honour who I am?”
“Is this aligned with the life I want to create?”
That is a very different frequency to live from.

Self love doesn’t mean that life will always go exactly as you want it to.
It means you trust yourself enough to know that whatever happens, you will not abandon yourself.

And from that place, you become much more open to receiving.

WHAT DOES SELF LOVE REALLY LOOK LIKE?

Self love isn’t just looking in the mirror and telling yourself you’re amazing.

Real self love is often much quieter.

It’s listening to your body when it needs rest.
It’s saying no without feeling guilty.
It’s walking away from something that continually diminishes you.
It’s allowing yourself to change your mind.
It’s choosing relationships where you feel respected.
It’s forgiving yourself for the things you didn’t know then that you know now.
It’s trusting your intuition.
It’s allowing yourself to receive.
It’s keeping the promises you make to yourself.
And sometimes, self love is simply asking yourself:
“What do I need right now?”
Then actually listening to the answer.

The more we learn to love ourselves authentically, the less we need to seek our worth from outside ourselves.

And that changes everything.
