Your workout deserves a relaxing finish… 😌

Our new recovery area at Worthing Leisure Centre is coming together, giving you a dedicated space to unwind after your session.

You may have tried our wellness beds during their trial in reception. They’ve now moved into their home inside our brand-new gym! Enjoy a heated water massage on our HydroMassage G3 Lounger, with adjustable pressure and settings to focus on your chosen areas, all while staying dry and fully clothed. Our CryoLounge+ recovery chair combines targeted cooling with soothing heat elsewhere, so you can sit back in comfort.

We’ve also got something new to introduce: our Hypervolt massage guns! These handheld devices use rapid pulses to massage your muscles, whether you’re warming up before training or winding down afterwards.

Alongside our Sunlighten infrared red-light sauna, there’s plenty to look forward to beyond the gym floor. We’re putting the finishing touches in place and can’t wait to welcome you!

The transformation continues…

Here’s your first look at the new gym entrance, changing rooms and toilets at Worthing Leisure Centre!

With plenty of new lockers and more individual showers in both changing rooms, getting ready after your workout is about to get a whole lot better. New toilets, sinks and hairdryers complete the refresh, giving you the perfect space to get ready for the day ahead.

Finishing touches are still underway, but it’s all coming together and we can’t wait to welcome you in!

A place to unwind after your workout… 👀

Take a closer look inside one of the UK’s largest infrared saunas, coming to Worthing Leisure Centre as part of our £2 million redevelopment.

Why infrared? Its heaters use infrared light to warm your body directly, creating a warming experience at a typically lower air temperature than a traditional sauna. If you find conventional sauna heat a little overwhelming, this could be a more comfortable way to enjoy some time in the warmth.

It’s a space to pause after training and make recovery part of your visit. Research into infrared sauna use after exercise has shown promising results for reducing muscle soreness, making it an exciting addition to our new gym.

A huge thank you to Sunlighten for helping bring this space to life. We can’t wait for you to experience it!

Finishing touches are still underway, with more to reveal from our recovery area, including HydroMassage and CryoLounge+. We’ll share details on access and availability closer to opening.
