While we were here celebrating Pride, coming together as our own community and sharing joy and belonging, an horrendous act of violence unfolded at Berlin Pride yesterday.

People who were simply being themselves, celebrating love, freedom and who they are, were met with hate. Lives have been lost, others hurt, and so many left shaken and afraid.

Our hearts break for everyone affected, their loved ones, and the whole LGBTQIA+ community in Berlin. We stand with you, we grieve with you, and we will never let hate silence us or stop us.

Pride is our right. Our right to be safe, our right to be proud, and our right to stand together. We will keep showing up, keep building inclusive spaces right here in North Wales, and keep proving love always wins.

Since we started back in October 2022 with just 5 people, we’ve grown to 65 members, and we’ve had some incredible moments along the way:

✅ Earned promotions in our league
✅ Played at the Principality Stadium — three times! 🤩
✅ Were part of the WRU’s first ever Pride campaign

🦏 WHAT A DAY AT Mold Carnival! 🎉🏉

A massive thank you to every single person who came over, cheered us on, or stopped for a chat today – your support means the absolute world 💛

We entered two teams out of 11 total competing… and we came away with 1st place AND 3rd place overall – we are so proud of our Crash! 🥇🥉 It was all about fun, laughter and great team spirit, and we had buckets of all of that!

Met so many amazing people today – new faces, old friends, and everyone who’s curious about inclusive rugby – thank you for making it such a special day ✨

Huge shoutout and love to V2 Physique– absolute legends, such great sports for letting us lift your mascot and have a bit of fun! 🤜🤛

We came home tired but so happy – this is what being part of the Rhinos is all about!
