After the 1XI match was cancelled on Saturday morning, all eyes were on the Hall to see if the 2XI could finish the season on a high.

Despite their best efforts the 2's came up 18 runs short of their target against Carmel.

The final weekend of the 2026 season has arrived with both teams looking to finish strongly.

The 1XI make the trip to Dolgellau Cricket Club with 3rd place in Division 2 up for grabs.

The 2XI finish the season at the Hall with Carmel & District Cricket Club the visitors.

The games begin at midday, good luck to both teams.

Two milestones to celebrate from last weekend.

First up was yet another fifty from Mohammad Ghufran with a very measured 76 to steer the 1XI from a position of trouble to setting a winning total.

The second was a very special 6 for 6 from Paul Baines who this year is also celebrating 50 seasons of senior cricket! Not only that but all for one club. A simply amazing achievement.

After a complete wash out last weekend, we're hoping for a return to a dryer day tomorrow.

The 1XI are back at the Hall for the final time this season as they take on Corwen CC.

The 2XI make the trip to Shotton to take on Hawarden Park Cricket Club.

Three batting milestones to celebrate this week. Two came for the 2XI during their win against Corwen.

Firstly Matthew Lewis' first fifty of the season came in the form of a 65 not out, batting through the whole run chase to bring us victory. Mat was ably assisted by Anthony Morris who produced his top score of the year with 56.

Muhammad Ghufran's second 1XI fifty of the year was the bright spot of Saturday's game at Pwllheli. His knock of 53 not out helped to set a good total.

Well batted lads.
