Football is coming to the Clubroom!

We’ll be staying open for all of England’s World Cup group-stage matches over the next couple of weeks:

⚽ England vs Croatia – Wednesday 17 June
⚽ England vs Ghana – Tuesday 23 June
⚽ England vs Panama – Saturday 27 June

Join us in the Clubroom to watch all the action live with fellow members. Whether you’re popping in for one game or planning to follow the whole tournament, it’s the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere and cheer England on together.

Water Safety Week is here at David Lloyd!

This coming week, all of our Swim Stars lessons will be focusing on water safety, helping our swimmers build confidence and learn important skills.

From understanding how to stay safe around water to practising key safety techniques in the pool, it’s a really important week for all of our young swimmers.

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and in honour of this we’re doing a Thank You Thursday for our team! 💚

We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing team we have here at David Lloyd York thank you for all the support, hard work and positivity you bring every day! ✨

On Monday night our staff took part in a charity football match against GLL to raise money for anaphylaxis awareness, in honour of Jenson, who sadly passed away in his sleep due to a severe allergic reaction.

Jenson was a much-loved colleague and friend to all of us at DL York, and anyone who knew him knew just how much football meant to him. ❤️⚽️

We’re proud to say the team emerged victorious on the night! Thank you to everyone who came down to support, donate, and help make the evening so special.

Together, the team has already raised over £1,500 for anaphylaxis awareness, and there is still time to donate. Every contribution means a lot and helps support an incredibly important cause.
