Instead of assuming that my client just got tired after 5 push ups i look for details. Always. Because i know she can do easy 10 reps.
What was she doing here? In the first set and first couple of repa of this one as she was lowering herself into the push up she was actively pushing herself forward through her toes. This shifts the whole weight forward, shifts the weight to the fingers instead of base of the palm and also more to the shoulders.
This leads to earlier fatigue in the push up and by holding her heels back i try to keep her at the balls of her feet so she can use her chest, triceps and shoulders and also lats.
Now, don't get me wrong we can shift forward and do a push up but we have to know why we are doing it and we want to achieve with it.
If you actually want to get stronger and get more reps in, do this. Feet and arms strong on the ground and go down between your arms and imagine pushing the ground away and kind of forward on the way up.

Ever feel like you have to choose between lifting heavy to build muscle or doing endless cardio to burn fat?
You don't.
My wife and I just smashed a Contrast Method workout, and it is easily one of the most powerful protocols I use with myself and my clients.
What is it?You pair a heavy strength lift with a fast, explosive movement that uses the same muscle pattern.
Why it works for weight loss:
Insane Caloric Burn- It recruits high-threshold muscle fibers.
These fibers require massive amounts of energy to repair, spiking your metabolism for hours after the workout (the EPOC effect).
Maintains Lean Muscle: Traditional "cardio" can waste muscle. Contrast training protects your strength while burning fat.
High Efficiency: You get strength, power, and metabolic conditioning done in half the time.
Swipe through to see the exact supersets we used and how to set them up! 👇
Superset 1: Lower Body Power & Speed:
1️⃣ Heavy Front Walking Lunges + Sled Sprints
This is the ultimate pairing for building athletic legs and torching body fat.
The Heavy Lift: Front Walking Lunges (3-5 heavy reps per leg). This primes the central nervous system and wakes up the glutes, quads, and hamstrings.
The Explosive Match: Sled Sprints (15-20 meters). Right after the lunges, your nervous system is firing at 100%.
You transfer that heavy strength into pure, aggressive horizontal speed.
Rest: Take a brief 15-second transition between exercises, then rest a full 2-3 minutes between sets to recover your power. Repeat for 3 sets.
Superset 2: Upper Body Pushing Power:
2️⃣ Eccentric Push Press + Banded Plyo Push-Ups
Want to build a strong, powerful upper body?
This textbook contrast pairing targets the chest, shoulders, and triceps.
The Heavy Lift: Eccentric Push Press (4-5 reps, lowering the weight slowly for 4-5 seconds).
The slow lowering phase creates massive neurological stimulation.
The Explosive Match: Banded Plyo Push-Ups (5-7 explosive reps).
We harness that brain-to-muscle stimulation to launch off the floor with maximum velocity.
Rest: 15 seconds between exercises, 2-3 minutes between sets. Repeat for 3 sets.
Superset 3: Upper Body Pull & Power Endurance:
3️⃣

Scroll to see things i've used for over a decade that keep me in shape.
KEEP LIFTING HEAVY! Doing more cardio is not the answer! Lifting and controlled cardio is!
Making your own food gives you all control over your calories without counting them.
If you have 4 meals for example and you are training after breakfast then i would have some carbs for breakfast, a lot in PWM and a decent portion for lunch. 0 for dinner.
Non exercise activity is deeply underestimated. But also dont overdo it. 25.000 steps can be counter productive.
If you train hard late in the evening and your PWM is your last meal then you can have carbs to recover but at least on days off you cut them out for dinner.

➡️ REBUILD SYSTEM. WEEK 61 - DAY1 ⬅️
If you are managing to go to the gym 2-3x a week doing any bro split is probably not the best option.
Imagine this, you go to the gym on Monday, you do legs and then life happens, next time you manage on friday and you decide to do chest and triceps or if you're a woman you want to do legs again and then you did 0 upper body that week..
You did 3 muscle groups only once..
Thats why if you dont manage to go to the gym more than 3 times, 3 full body sessions is the way to go.
Here is an example training of the LIFT and SHE LIFT programs of my online training system.
If you wanna have a free trial week on the program write

CrossFit’s definition of fitness is: “Increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains.”
And this is one of the reasons why this definition has always made sense to me.
Being fit shouldn’t only mean lifting heavy weights, having a good 5K time or looking good without a shirt.
It should mean having a body that is capable.
Strong enough to lift.
Fit enough to run.
Enough endurance to spend almost 3 hours climbing a mountain.
And enough muscle to look good while doing all of it.
Today was 9 km, 755 m of climbing and 2h 43min on the mountain.
I don’t train specifically for hiking. But I train so that when I want to do something like this, my body is ready for it.
For me, that’s the point of training.
Build strength. Build muscle. Build your engine.
Don’t just train to look fit.
Train to be fit.
Want to build a body that looks good AND performs?
Send me “REBUILD” and let’s talk.
CARB RELOAD 🐷
This is a cool meal if you want a:
1. Breakfast option (with skyr or magerquark you dont have to use as much whey protein )
2. Snack option
3. Or just do a little carb load.
Save this and share with someone. I am as usual not suggesting the amounts because they will vary depending on your weight, goal and daily amount of macros and calories 🙌🏻😊

I am sorry but im not sorry if i hurt anybody's feelings.
This industry is very underestimated only because of social media and coaches who dont see the true purpose of this job.
Have you ever worked with a coach ? If you have- share your experience and if you haven't tell us what's stopping you? 👇🏼

24 hours in 📍Belgrade 😎
1300km drive through the whole night. Ate eggs, bananas, drank coffee and water.
Ran errands the whole day in Belgrade.
Slept 10h the next night.
Woke up, worked out.
Full body session-
Low push and reverse drag on a curved treadmill.
Core.
Chest superset, back superset, shoulders superset.
And then had breakfast. As usual-eggs, cheese, proscuitto and some bread.
And this is exactly what im trying to explain to everyone. It doesnt need to be fancy, it needs to work. Routine is something you keep wherever you are.
You need to prioritize your training and yourself. And no, you dont need to workout 5-6 days a week. You need 2-3 full body sessions whatever your goal is.
