Waikato Pacifica U18 v Tonga U18 7.00pm, last game of their season. Club Open from 5.30pm

ONE LAST TIME. ONE PASIFIKA BROTHERHOOD

One last game for our U18s. ❤️

This Friday, we have the privilege of sharing the field with our Tongan U18 brothers. 🇹🇴🤝🏽

For us, this is about more than rugby. It’s about two Pasifika teams coming together, representing our families, our communities and the people who have supported these boys throughout the journey.

It’s a real honour to finish our campaign this way, surrounded by our Pasifika brothers, doing what we love and creating memories that these young men will carry with them.

Whatever the result, we’re grateful for the opportunity, grateful for the journey, and proud of what this group has achieved.

🌍🏉Thank You to Our Travelling Green Machines!
Hamilton Marist players have travelled the world playing rugby for decades, representing clubs in America, Australia, France, England, Ireland, Canada, Holland and beyond. This includes internationals such as Mark van Gisbergen (England), Glenn “Snowy” Metcalfe (Scotland), more recently Leroy van Dam (Netherlands), and Spencer Jones (Canada) in 2026.

In 2025, Premier players Jack O’Brien joined Greystones in Ireland, while Jarrod Bowe went to Stirling in Scotland. Te Kapamanawakii also returned to back home in 2025 after playing for Dignois in France.

Now, another group of Green Machines is heading overseas. We wish them all the best in their rugby and travels and look forward to seeing them back at Marist in the future.💚

Our Marist women’s French connection, Therese Dupont, Lauriane Labat and Women’s Team/Social Media Manager Valentine Le Borgne (Stade Français Rugby Club - Commercial) are returning to France.

We also thank our Club Captain, Christie Burborough, and wish her well on her travels in Ireland with Liam.
