We are deeply saddened to see the passing of a deeply respected mentor and friend in the martial arts (and wider) community, Damian Smith. Damian had a vast and lasting effect on all those he came into contact with, and his memory will live on.

Our Youth Combat kicks off again next week for the start of term 3!

Youth kickboxing for ages 11+ on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm with Coach Elleina 💪
Junior Youth Boxing 5-8 years Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm and Senior Youth Boxing for ages 8+ Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:30pm with coaches Smiley and Rikki 🥊

On top of mastering techniques and the foundational skills of martial arts, your child will have the opportunity to learn and grow with like-minded peers, create friendships, learn discipline and of course burn off any after school energy 😜

These two shared the ring last year, with Stacey coming up short. Now she’s earned another shot! but this time, there’s far more at stake.

In May 2024, Tinta Smith made history by becoming New Zealand’s first PBC Cruiserweight Champion. Now she steps into a new division to compete for the PBC New Zealand Light Heavyweight Championship against a determined Stacy Loye, who is looking for redemption.

Will Tinta add another national title to her resume, or will Stacey rewrite the story and claim the championship belt?
