We are thrilled to announce that Patumahoe Junior Rugby Club has been selected to host Sir John Kirwan’s Mitey Drive for Five! 💚

🏆 THE BLEDISLOE CUP IS COMING TO PATUMAHOE! 🏆

On Sunday 4 October, Patumahoe Junior Rugby Club will be the final stop on the Bledisloe Cup journey, and we’d love to see as many families as possible there to be part of this special event!

Come along for an afternoon of rugby, fun and wellbeing, including:

🏉 Skills and drills sessions
🏆 The Bledisloe Cup will be there!
📸 Get your photo with the Cup
🤝 Meet Sir John Kirwan
💚 Celebrate the importance of mental health and wellbeing

And there’s even more excitement…

🌟 One lucky child who attends will be selected to take part in the curtain-raiser match at Eden Park on Saturday 10 October! They’ll have the incredible opportunity to play alongside some rugby legends before the Bledisloe Cup match.

The selected child will also receive a free ticket for themselves and a parent to attend the match. 🏉🏆

Operating alongside the historic Patumahoe Rugby Football Club, established in 1886, the Junior Club provides rugby opportunities from Rippa through to Year 7 and 8 competition grades.

The club is built around community, development, sportsmanship and pride, with a strong focus on giving young players the opportunity to enjoy rugby, develop their skills and represent their local club.

📣Exciting announcement.

We have been put forward to Host Sir John Kirwans Mitey Drive for Five.

On Sunday the 4th of October the Patumahoe Junior rugby club is the last stop for the Bledisloe Cup journey. We have been asked to host an event at the club, to encourage as many children and families to this as possible in support of an amazing organisation.

So what we ask, please save the date!

📅 Sunday 4th of October.
🕕Time between 2.00pm and 3.00pm.
📍Location Patumahoe Junior Rugby Club

Let your children know we are planning an event and we would love as many of our junior families as possible.

The idea is we will have some skills and drills sessions, the bledisloe cup will be there alongside Sir John Kirwan.

They will be selecting some children to take part in the match in Auckland (pretty sure the weekend after) to represent our club and this marks the end of the cup's journey across the Country!

Patumahoe Family Touch is all social! No competition. Just out to have fun, catch up with mates and play a little ball!
