The Forestry Training Committee is offering two online presentation sessions this month to detail the move of workplace training to the new Engineering and Manufacturing Private Training Establishment - operating under the Competenz brand.

The sessions will outline the transition process and implementation approach and give industry the opportunity to provide feedback.

The New Zealand Forest Owners Association (NZFOA) and Forest Industry Contractors Association (F**A) have endorsed the workplace training decision, which will support the sector’s need for consistent, industry-led training across silviculture, harvesting, engineering and forest management.

The online sessions will be presented by Joseph Brolly (FOA) and Rowan Struthers (F**A), with support from Competenz.

🕐Each session will run for approximately 60 minutes, including a 30-minute presentation followed by Q&A and discussion.

Both presentations will cover the same material, so please choose the session that suits you best.

First presentation:
