We just wrapped up Mat 1, 2 & 3 Intensive, and to say I’m inspired is an understatement. Some of these incredible students committed to all 6 consecutive days, while others joined for 2 — but every single person showed up, put in the work, asked amazing questions, shared thoughtful conversations, and brought their absolute best to the mat.

There was a whole lot of learning, growth, laughter, and mat work packed into these six days — plus a fun 50th birthday celebration on Day 5! 🎂✨

There’s something truly special about immersive training. Spending six straight days together creates connections and community in a way that’s hard to describe. Watching everyone find their voice, grow more confident, curious, and inspired each day was such a gift.

I’m so proud of this group and very much looking forward to staying connected over the years and seeing where your teaching journeys take you. 💙

Golf season is HERE, who’s ready?⛳️

These are some of my favorite exercises that I look forward to before AND often after a round too.

Hip openers to gain more mobility, rotational drills to build power and stability, and golf swing mimics using resistance to reinforce strength, sequencing, balance, and control through rotation.

Mobility isn’t just a warmup — it’s maintenance. The better your body moves and stabilizes, the better you’ll rotate, recover, and perform - round after round, all season long.

Move better. Rotate stronger. Stay stable. Recover smarter. 💪

Reformer 3 is no joke 💥
This weekend was a true reflection of what it means to be part of the family. Every single one of these incredible women showed up with heart, courage, and unwavering support for one another.
They stepped into challenges they once thought were out of reach—and absolutely crushed them.
This clip says so much, but it’s just a glimpse of the respect, commitment, and strength that filled the room all weekend long.

Pilates is more popular than ever—and that’s a great thing. Exactly what Joseph Pilates dreamed of - “I must be right. Never an aspirin. Never injured a day in my life. The whole country, the whole world, should be doing my exercises. They’d be happier”.

But with the boom in reformer studios, quality varies more than ever now too.
A recent Guardian article called it the “wild west,” with rising injuries linked to overcrowded classes, minimal training, and little to no individual attention.

Not all Pilates is created equal.

As someone who has spent over 20 years studying under first and second-generational masters and mentoring the next wave of instructors, I’ve seen the full spectrum. “Pilates” shouldn’t just be a marketing term for pulsing until you burn out to thumping music. Pilates was designed to be intentional, precise, and deeply informed. But today, “Pilates” can mean anything—from highly trained instruction to classes that barely resemble the method at all.

Before you book your next class, ask:

➡️Are the instructors comprehensively trained (or just “certified” over a weekend)?

➡️Did they ask for your health and injury history?

➡️Is the class small enough for the instructor to actually see and correct you?

Day 31 - The Push Up
We did it—31 days of March Matness ✔️

Honestly…creating and sharing 31 posts was THE challenge! 😅

Our goal this month was to bring the focus back to where it all began. The mat is where you refine your skills, find your deep core, and prove that you are your own best piece of equipment and you can practice anywhere.
