🏀 Volunteer Coaches Needed for Winter Basketball! 🏀
Volunteers are the heart of the YMCA Youth Sports Program — to be honest, we can't do it without you! From coaching to team communication and coordination, we need people like you to help teach sportsmanship, teamwork, and game fundamentals to our young athletes. 💙
Don't feel like an expert in your kid's favorite sport? No problem! We've been doing this for over 150 years and have plenty of resources to help you feel confident on the sidelines.
⏰ Time commitment: About 2 hours/week
- 1 evening practice during the week
- 1 Saturday game
📅 Season length: 9 weeks
The safety of every child in our programs is our top priority. All volunteer coaches complete a full onboarding process, including an application, interview, reference and background checks, and annual training in child abuse prevention, safe sports, and concussion awareness.
Ready to make an impact on and off the court? Visit the link below, reach out to Melanie Norman, or send us a DM to get started!
