Primal Barbell
Private Training using challenging exercises that have the power to transform.
one thing i've learned from barbell training
when the weight's bearing down on you
when you're not sure you can do another rep
when it gets heavy
when you're not sure you'll get back up
squeeze your chest up tall
and go for it
The most effective way to end joint pain is to adapt your diet and lifestyle. DM "triggers" if you're ready to feel 10-20 years younger again.
I used to HATE deadlifts
until I learned a repeatable setup that felt good and built up my back and legs. Then I was able to set aside my fear, and get empowered. I want you to be empowered as well.
Peace,
Jacob
This is what I would tell you if you came off a weekend of "loose" eating with excess joint pain, and you were open to making a connection to your food.
There is a way where you can stay on track without 3 or more lbs of weight gain, fatigue and joint pain.
Instead of cheat meals, I recommend specific parameters and then enjoying the freedom within those parameters.
DM me "Swaps" and let me know which foods you struggle with and let's come up with better swaps for you.
3 things I had to un-learn to help others get as strong as possible:
1. Looking up on the squat
2. Pointing toes straight forward. Turning your toes out and spreading your knees apart gives your pelvis room to descend while you keep your lower back straight.
3. Avoiding the deadlift!

if at first you didn't succeed
try it again
then try it one more again
after that, the fastest way to progress is to regress and then continue to climb
-Intro-
My name is Jacob
I’m the owner of primal barbell
And I covered a song by Outkast
It’s called 13th floor
I tend to change up the lyrics
So I can speak about what I know
And what I know is this:
-Chorus-
Something's gotta change
Words of comfort and faithfulness bring you hope in the pain
Been bearing this burden for too ma ny of your days
Would you cast every care on the One who hears your cries
He’ll take all the weight away
-Verse-
I bet you never heard of a king who had no place to lay his head
see the Foxes all have their dens and the birdies all have their nests
Following him comes at a cost
Are we ready to pay that price?
Are we ready to follow his word?
Are we ready to give our life?
Not just on Sunday morning pews, unless we set aside our pride
Time to set our plans down so we can let him be our guide
Not just “Lord ” with our lips while we cling to that of old
Lord forgive me for my sins won’t you lead me back home?
-Chorus-
Something's gotta change
Words of comfort and faithfulness bring you hope in the pain
Been bearing this burden for too ma ny of your days
Would you cast every care on the One who hears your cries
He’ll take all the weight away
