Give it up for the Outliers representing us at Southwest Regionals this weekend in Dallas, Texas!

This is our team’s first appearance at Southwest regionals, and it will be the first of our two regional meets this year, as the rest of the team will be competing at Midwest Regionals the following weekend.

The new Comp Tee 3.0 and the new Cropped Comp Top are available at the Outlier Merch Store (Link in our Bio!)

The new design features our team slogan “Speak Through Action” across the team mascot of the rising phoenix, making this shirt perfect for wear on its own or underneath a singlet (where the text will typically not be visible).

A nod to our recent run of national titles is also included on the sleeve.

These shirts are unisex and fit true to size, although many tend to size down if planning to wear underneath a singlet during competition.

Pre sale will end one week from today on Monday, September 7th. After that, only a limited stock will be available.

Congratulations to my client Lindsey for competing at the Superhero Open in Orlando, Florida, his very first powerlifting meet!

Lindsey started training with me only a few months ago, and we decided to hop into this meet to be able to qualify for Military, Police, and Fire Nationals 2027.

With the help of handler Tyler Montano - Powerlifting Coach , Lindsey was able put together an excellent day:
▪️7/9 on attempts
▪️474 Squat (PR)
▪️303 Bench (PR)
▪️529 Deadlift (PR)
▪️1,306 Total (PR)
▪️Second place in the open 100kg division
▪️A ticket to nationals next year

Congratulations, Lindsey! On to the next one!

C S Peterson competed last weekend at the Iron Heaven Gyms Summer Showdown meet. This meet marked Chris’s return to the team under coach Desi Cooney - MS, CSCS after a ~3 year layoff during which Chris switched from equipped to raw, and lost about 50 pounds!

The day turned out stellar for Chris, including:
▪️A perfect 9/9 on attempts
▪️589 Squat
▪️424 Bench Press
▪️683 Deadlift
▪️1,697 Total
▪️448.3 DOTS
▪️Gold Medal in the men’s untested master 1 division
▪️The highest total of the meet

Team Outlier’s youngest member won BIG last week at USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals!

It was just Max trujillo second meet ever under coach Desi Cooney - MS, CSCS, and on the day Max managed:

▪️7/9 on attempts, missing only on downward motion calls
▪️363 squat (PR)
▪️231 bench (PR) missing 242
▪️441 deadlift (PR) missing 479 for a state record attempt
▪️1,036 total (PR) officially adding 61lbs since February
▪️Gold medal in the teen 1 100kg weight class
