New Coach Alert

After 12 years of training at Showtime as an athlete, Simon has come on to coach.

He brings a ton of knowledge in performance training with a strong emphasis on hockey development.

Weโ€™re pumped to have him on.

Accommodating Resistance

Our college athletes began using chains for their next squat cycle in training this summer

Chains are helpful because they have less weight in the bottom and add as you lift higher. This helps to teach acceleration during the entire range of motion.

At the top of the lift, chains should have 1-2 links still on the ground. If there is too much on the ground then thereโ€™s little change and if the chains leave the ground there is a swinging effect.

When starting out, less is more

Yesterday Bo and Sydney hit their first Squats with a plate on each side

Both of these athletes understand the value of long term development and itโ€™s been paying off big time this summer

We help meet each athlete where theyโ€™re currently at and build them for the long term of health and physical performance.

As you can see here, first time with these weights and they both moved them with ease
