We had a great time today connecting with older adults and caregivers at our Hocus Pocus Health & Wellness Fair. Rudy, our Run Run Reindeer mascot, even stopped by to join the fun!

A big thank you to the Licking County Task Force on Aging, our participating vendors, and everyone who came out. We're grateful for a community that looks out for one another!

HKN started with a few filled backpacks. Now you can help carry the story🎒

Although HKN has grown and food delivery has changed, a backpack still represents our community coming together to make sure local kids have food for the weekend.

🚒 One big truck, lots of big smiles!

Yesterday, our childcare families had a special evening learning about fire safety!

Captain Josh Amspaugh, of the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office, joined us to share important tips about smoke alarms, household hazards, and how to “Stay Low and Go” in an emergency.

And the highlight for our little ones? A visit from Newark Station 1! The kids got to check out their equipment and even climb inside the truck.

A big thank you to Captain Josh and Newark, OH Division of Fire for spending time with our families and making learning about safety so much fun.

A few backpacks started the HKN story. Our community keeps it going 💖

Today, the Healthy Kids Network reaches more than 500 local kids across seven school districts, thanks in large part to volunteers and community partners who believe in taking care of their neighbors.

The Healthy Kids Network started in 2015 with a few backpacks. Today, it provides weekend food to more than 500 local kids across seven school districts, all made possible by our community 💖

Recently, members of the Heath Lions Club/ Heath Lions Charities Inc. joined us to pack food bags at one of our Healthy Kids Network Packing Parties. It’s just one of the many ways people across our county step up to take care of their neighbors.

Volunteers and community partners like these help keep HKN going week after week. And we’re so grateful for everyone who makes it all possible!

Want to lend a hand? Join us November 13 from 4–7 PM in the Knoll Gym, or sign up for another upcoming packing opportunity at our HKN storage location. No need to bring anything. Just come ready to help!

We’re excited to partner with the Licking County Chamber of Commerce for their annual service project on October 23, supporting both LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA and the YMCA Healthy Kids Network.

Join us for an afternoon of connection, creativity and giving back. We’d love to see you there!

Join us for our annual service project, this year supporting "Livestrong at the YMCA" and the "YMCA Healthy Kids Network" 🩷

We’re partnering with The YMCA, Healthy Kids Network and LIVESTRONG for an afternoon of connection and giving back. We’ll enjoy boxed lunches from Morning Harvest Cafe while working together on two projects that will make a difference.

Attendees are asked to bring a box of cereal to support Healthy Kids Network’s Stuff the Backpack program. We’ll also get a little creative and paint flower pots for participants in the YMCA’s LIVESTRONG program.
