Join us for an Open Mat session - Adult Students, all CTC Students, and Jiu-Jitsu friends are welcome. Whether you’re rolling or just hanging out, we’ll have light snacks, fresh fruit, and drinks for everyone.

Congrats to Megaton on 2x Gold at yesterday at the International Masters in his division and open division.

We’re thrilled to share updates as we prepare to welcome you to our new location, as well as closure dates to correspond with the move! We’re grateful for the incredible community we’ve built and look forward to continuing our shared Jiu-Jitsu journey together. Likewise, being committed to continuously improving our instruction, Sean and David will be traveling to Miami to attend classes with the renowned Valente Brothers, the first weekend in June. By furthering our training, we aim to bring you the very best Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instruction.

During this exciting time, we have some important date changes to make you aware of. Here’s a quick summary:

Key Dates:

Academy Closed (Moving): This Saturday (May 31st) and Monday (June 2nd) - Volunteers with trucks/trailers needed this Saturday, so please reach out if you can assist at 9 am meeting at the current Academy location.
Classes Resume at New Location: Tuesday (June 3rd - 5th) - 747 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Ste 101, Phoenix, AZ 85027 (1-mile north and 1-mile east of the current Academy location)
Academy Closed: Saturday, June 7th and Monday, June 9th - Sean and David will be in Miami at Valente Brothers.
Grand Opening Celebration! Saturday, June 14th:
Gracie Game Day (All Kids Class together): 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - wear Gi Pants and Shirt (no belt or Gi top required)
Adult Open Mat: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Celebrate with fellow GJJ CTCs and Jiu-Jitsu friends!
With all that being said, we are incredibly grateful for the amazing community we’ve built together and the friendships we’ve developed through Jiu-Jitsu. We look forward to our continued growth and shared journey at our new location. Any help with the move this Saturday is appreciated! Depending on the HVAC company’s progress, we may also need a few helping hands on Sunday at 10:00 AM for an hour or two to assist with laying out the mats.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this exciting transition. We can’t wait to see you on the mat in our new Academy!

Every now and then, a message from a student really hits home — a reminder that what we’re building here isn’t just about Jiu-Jitsu, it’s about community. The mats bring us together, but it’s the people who make it special. Husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, parents and children, complete strangers — all growing by training together and sharing in moments. What more could we ask for?

From 5-year-olds to future Air Force officers — Gracie North Jiu-Jitsu has something for everyone.

This week perfectly highlights the diversity of what we do.
In one moment, it is a high-energy kids class filled with laughter, learning, and fundamentals being taught in a playful manner…
And in the next, we are hosting a group of ROTC cadets, giving them a better understanding of how to protect themselves.
