Creating business partnerships can be easy.
Finding partners whose values, standards, and approach truly align with your own brand is much harder.
At Balance, we’re intentional about who we recommend. Every CONNECTIONS partner is someone we trust, respect, and believe makes our community stronger. Because when the right people work together, everyone benefits.
We’re excited to introduce the first CONNECTIONS partnership: Your Place Physical Therapy.
Beginning this Wednesday, Dr. Frank Allen will be at Balance every Wednesday from 8:30–11:00 AM offering complimentary Pain & Performance Assessments for Balance clients and members.
Whether you’re dealing with a nagging ache, recovering from an injury, or simply want to make sure you’re moving well, stop by and introduce yourself. Dr. Allen will be available for:
• Quick screens to catch problems before they become injuries
• Guidance on training around aches, stiffness, or nagging pain
• Tips to improve form, mobility, and overall performance
No appointment is necessary, and there’s no cost. Just another way we’re working to bring trusted wellness resources directly to our clients and members.

Ali Kurzeja has always been inspired by the place she calls home.
Growing up in Sarasota, she developed a love for the turquoise water, tropical botanicals, and vibrant colors that define Florida’s Gulf Coast. Those influences continue to shape her work today, blending traditional watercolor with digital illustration to create artwork that feels bright, peaceful, and unmistakably coastal.
Her piece displayed at Balance, Jungle Lush, captures that spirit beautifully. Centered around lush Monstera leaves with soft botanical details and a colorful songbird, it reflects her signature style of bringing nature to life through fresh color palettes and thoughtful composition.
Ali’s creative journey has taken her from Ringling College of Art & Design to working as an in-house illustrator for companies such as American Greetings & Polygroup. She also freelances, creating fine art & surface pattern design for clients including Target, Anthropologie, Papyrus, HomeGoods, & many more.
We’re proud to feature Ali’s work as part of our Art of Balance series, celebrating the talented local artists whose work helps make Balance more than a place to exercise.
Art is best experienced in person. Stop by Balance to see Jungle Lush on display!

Soon, this space will be filled with people working toward goals that matter to them.
Some are training for their first race.
Some are preparing for a trip they’ve always dreamed of taking.
Some are building strength, improving their health, or finding confidence they didn’t know they had.
Some are recovering after an injury.
Some simply want to feel their best for the people and experiences they love most.
No two journeys look the same.
That’s why no two training programs should be the same.
At Balance, every session is built around you, your goals, your abilities, and where you want to go next.
Because what brings you here is personal.
Your training should be too.

ART OF BALANCE | Featuring Kathy Wright
Art has a way of changing how we see the world around us.
For Sarasota artist Kathy Wright, painting is about more than capturing a landscape—it’s about exploring our relationship with place, memory, and perception. Influenced by her background in architecture, her work balances structure with intuition, inviting viewers to slow down and discover something new with every look.
A recipient of Pollock-Krasner Foundation grants and an Artist-in-Residence in Everglades National Park, Kathy’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States and is held in numerous public and private collections.
We’re honored to feature Kathy’s work as part of our Art of Balance series, celebrating the artists whose creativity helps make Balance more than a gym; it becomes a place to pause, reflect, and be inspired.

FEATURED
“The Workout Behind the Work.”
In her latest newsletter, Georgia Salaverri shared why wellness has become such an important part of the Salaverri Windsor Team’s culture.
As she writes, “Real estate is a people business, and great people take care of themselves.”
She goes on to describe Balance as “a private, boutique personal training studio in downtown Sarasota,” and what has stood out most to her team: a roster of trainers, each with their own style and background, all committed to focused, goal-driven sessions in a comfortable, inviting setting.
Perhaps our favorite line is this:
“For our team, that means workouts as intentional as the work we bring to our clients every day.”
We’re honored to be part of that journey and grateful to Georgia, Danielle, Drew, Elizabeth, Steven, and the entire Salaverri Windsor Team for trusting Balance with their health and wellness.
Thank you, Georgia, for your generous words and for featuring Balance in your newsletter.

“Every painting begins with a risk.”

INSIDE BALANCE
Meet Meghan Jones
What if better health wasn’t about doing more, but about bringing everything into alignment?
That’s the perspective Meghan Jones brings to her work.
As a wellbeing consultant, health coach, and speaker, Meghan helps people create lasting change by looking at the whole picture. Nutrition, stress, habits, energy, movement, and mindset are not separate pieces. They’re all connected.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, Meghan helps people build a healthier relationship with themselves and create changes that support the life they truly want to live.
Her philosophy is simple:
“Everything is connected. How we do one thing is generally how we do everything.”
A published author, former marathon runner, Assistant Principal Second Violin with the Sarasota Orchestra, and lover of all things mountains, Meghan brings a unique blend of experience, insight, and compassion to the Balance community.
We’re grateful to have her here.
Live more on purpose.

Stronger for the years ahead.
The strongest investment we can make is in our future selves.
Every workout. Every walk. Every healthy choice. Each one is a deposit into the years ahead.
Strength isn’t just about what you can do today. It’s about maintaining the freedom to travel, explore, play, carry, climb, and fully participate in the life you love.
It’s about preserving independence, building resilience, and moving through life with confidence.
Micki embodies this mindset every day. Her commitment to her health, strength, and well-being is an inspiration to all of us at Balance and a reminder that investing in ourselves today creates more possibilities for tomorrow.
At Balance, we believe wellness isn’t about turning back the clock. It’s about creating more good years ahead.
What are you doing today to stay strong for the years ahead?
