💙🌊 Last week, both of our premier aquatic centers proudly participated in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson, creating an experience that was inspiring, educational, and unforgettable.

One of the most rewarding moments was watching young swimmers transform from nervous and hesitant to confident and smiling. Beyond learning swimming techniques, participants gained something even more valuable—a greater understanding of water safety and the confidence to trust the lifeguards and safety professionals who are there to protect them.

It was heartwarming to see our aquatic center and Ocean Rescue lifeguards build that trust with each child, helping turn fear into confidence, one lesson at a time.

At North County Aquatic Center and Gifford Aquatic Center, we're committed to more than teaching swimming—we're dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments where every child can build lifelong skills and confidence in and around the water.

Free swimming lessons in Indian River County this Thursday Summer is in full swing. This comes as an important reminder about water safety.

On Thursday June 25th we're breaking a WORLD RECORD — and you're invited!
Indian River County joins the globe in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson — and we need YOUR little swimmer to help make history!

Youth ages 3–10 can participate FREE at two locations:
Gifford Aquatic Center | 11AM–12PM | 4895 43rd Ave, Vero Beach
North County Aquatic Center | 1–2PM | 9450 CR 512, Sebastian

Every child in the water counts toward the record! Experienced instructors will lead participants through essential water safety skills in a fun, supportive environment — all for FREE!
