North County Aquatic Center Public aquatic center with a zero depth entry activity pool & slides, bubblers, and play structure. Olympic size competition pool & diving wells.

We feature an activity pool, a competition pool, with a diving well and changing facilities. Our activity pool is zero depth for easy entry for all ages. The activity pool has slides, water cannons, bubbler

s, a water tree and a huge water play structure. The competition pool has almost 1 million gallons of water. We have up to 24 lanes for lap swimming at 25 yards. Make a difference in and around the water!

Ready to take your skills to the next level? The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification is your opportunity to become a certified swim instructor and help teach essential swimming and water safety skills to others.

Registration and swim testing takes place Tuesday, September 22, from 4:30–6:00 PM at the North County Aquatic Center.

The course begins September 29 and runs through October 20, with training held at both the Gifford Aquatic Center and North County Aquatic Center.

Course Fee: $325
Minimum Age: 15
Must meet Level 4 swimming skills criteria

Whether you're looking to build valuable skills, pursue a career in aquatics, or make a positive impact in your community, this certification is a great place to start.
