Heavy weight + good technique in my opinion will be more beneficial than Lower weight & higher reps 👇🏼
Heavy weights = 4-12 reps
Light weights = 15+ reps
If your goal is to get strong, learn the right technique, progressively increase weight and/or reps each week for 4 weeks on an exercise…
Then change the exercise variation.

As a business owner I cannot spend 3 hours meal prepping 2x per week & so I buy ready meals & prep my food for convenience.
I don’t do this all year round.
Only when I’m on a high calorie amount.
In my opinion if you’re eating under 3000 calories per day I don’t believe you should be eating ready meals.
Incline walking vs Strength Training
Incline walking is great. But it’s not some magic setting on the treadmill that will shed fat from your body.
In my opinion, strength training by lifting weights is a much better way to spend your limited time at the gym.
You’ll burn just as many calories as walking & you’ll get all the additional benefits like an increase in Strength & muscle building.
Do both. But lifting weights should take priority
Diet drinks are great for weight loss
In fact there was a study done recently where they put a group of people who drank water & a group that drank diet drinks over the span of 12 months…
The diet drink group lost 1.7kgs more on average than the water group.
Why? It crunches the sweet cravings you get when just starting a weight loss journey.
From the research we have so far, diet drinks are a GREAT option to Aid Your weight loss journey.
Scales < Measurements & Photo’s ✅
You might be gaining muscle
You might be holding onto more water
There are a range of reasons the scales might not be changing.
But if you’re physically stronger, seeing changes in your body & your waist measures smaller than it did 2 months ago, that is a sign you’re heading in the right direction
Training for Strength means you need to fuel your body before your sessions.
I’m not a fan of training fasted for this reason.
