🏆 WE DID IT — PERSONAL TRAINER OF THE YEAR 2026! 🏆
I’m still trying to take this in. From being named a finalist to now being announced as the 2026 AUSactive Personal Trainer of the Year, nationally. 🖤💛
But this award is about so much more than personal training.
When I created Honoured Social Enterprise Gym, I wanted to build a place where the people who so often feel like they don’t fit in traditional spaces could walk through the door and know immediately: you belong here.
A place for young people who need someone to believe in them. For people with disability to be recognised for their strengths and potential. For carers who spend so much of their lives caring for everyone else. For families who need connection. And for people whose mental health means simply walking through a gym door can be an enormous achievement.
We’ve always believed that fitness can be a vehicle for something much bigger, confidence, connection, mental wellbeing, employment, leadership, independence and belonging.
And now that work has been recognised on a national stage.
This award may have my name on it, but it belongs to the incredible Honoured team, our young mentors, our families, our participants, our supporters and every person who has trusted us enough to become part of our community.
And the timing couldn’t be more incredible. As we prepare to move Honoured into our new Capalaba home, this feels like confirmation that we’re only getting started.
From one little social enterprise gym in the Redlands to AUSactive Personal Trainer of the Year 2026.
Dream bigger. Challenge what inclusion can look like. And never underestimate what can happen when people are given somewhere they genuinely belong. 🖤💛
Fitness changes bodies. Inclusion changes lives.
