Entries for the 2026 Hobbies Direct Geelong Challenge Cup have been coming in fast! Some classes have already reached capacity and others are not far behind.

We have opened a waiting list for the following sold out classes:

📣 Track Closure Announcement 📣

Our track will be closed during the day tomorrow Friday 12th June & all day on Saturday 13th June while some work is being carried out in preparation for the Challenge Cup.

It's only been 24 hours since 2026 Hobbies Geelong Direct Challenge Cup entries opened and the response has been incredible!

The 2026 Hobbies Direct Geelong Challenge Cup will be our biggest ever!

Our premier event has moved to July this year, offering under-cover racing in the heart of winter. Take on four qualifiers across two days, with your best two setting your grid position for Sunday’s triple finals. That means you can race Sunday only or go all-in for the full weekend!

• 21.5 Junior (FREE Entry)
• ISTC 13.5
• HYPERCAR 17.5 (Over 50’s)

Winter At GRCR has started with today's action packed Club Championship Round, but there is plenty more to come! Including Night Racing this Friday 22nd May....

We have a packed program of guaranteed racing this winter with the 2026 Hobbies Direct Geelong Challenge Cup headlining on the weekend of July 11-12.

We have 10 more events in total running between now and October including Championship Sundays and Club Fridays.
