Cranksgiving was a massive success! It was incredible to see our members, volunteers, and partners pack Crawford for two full days of riding and celebration:

🎉 SATURDAY: 10th Annual Funduro & Skills Stations
Our Funduro celebrated a full decade of smiles! Tickets sold out so fast we had to increase capacity, bringing over 100 riders, volunteers, and vendors out to celebrate. Riders got a fun introduction to enduro racing on green and blue trails, while the School of MTB ran packed skills stations to help the next generation dial in their technique before dropping in.

⚡ SUNDAY: 5th Annual Classic Enduro
Sunday brought serious speed with 3-stage and 5-stage options across Crawford’s premier blue and black lines. Between both days, we welcomed over 200 participants to the mountain! Huge congratulations to all our category podium finishers—race results are officially live! 🏆

👑 OKANAGAN TRIPLE CROWN:
Cranksgiving marked a crucial stop for everyone chasing the Triple Crown alongside PeachDuro and Pedalfest. Extra raffle prizes and awards are headed to those who completed the full series!

🍔🎶 THE TRAILHEAD FESTIVAL:
Both days wrapped up with an epic trailhead village featuring a BBQ hosted by McElhanney, tunes from DJ Joe Bananas, ice cream from Mission Creamery, hot coffee from RedBird Roasting, gear demos with Over The Top Racks, and visits with the Big White team—plus incredible support from our local bike shops: Fresh Air, Cyclepath, ChainLine Cycle, and Lake Country Cycle.

Fall is prime dirt season, and our trails need some love before winter sets in. Join us for a morning of shaping, clearing drainage, and buffing out lines at Smith Creek!

📍 Location: Smith Creek Road, West Kelowna, BC

⚠️ Requirement: Active membership required for insurance purposes

What to bring:

Work gloves & sturdy footwear

We will supply the tools, trail leads, and post-dig high fives!

Just a reminder - there is a prescribed burn in the Spion Kop area about six kilometres north of Lake Country.

Today, Tuesday Oct. 6, we will be supporting the Okanagan Shuswap Natural Resource District, the District of Lake Country and Lake Country Fire Department in conducting a prescribed burn in the Spion Kop area about six kilometres north of Lake Country. This portion of the Wildfire Risk Reduction project will be burnt as part of the BC Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX). We will be burning an approximately three hectare section of the overall project area.

This project is part of a multi-year wildfire risk reduction project covering a total of 265 hectares. The remainder will be burnt in the coming months as burn windows, site and weather conditions allow.

TREX is a unique, cooperative, prescribed burning training model that provides hands on learning with a focus on local landscapes and values. The program provides a structured, experiential learning opportunity focused on prescribed fire planning, ignition, holding and monitoring practices in a Wildland Urban Interface (WUI).

Smoke may be visible from Lake Country, Vernon, Kelowna and surrounding areas and to motorists travelling along Highway 97.

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we wear orange to honour the children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities forever impacted.

​As riders who spend our days connected to the land, we recognize that the trails we love throughout the Central Okanagan wind through the unceded, ancestral territory of the Syilx Okanagan people.

​Today is about pausing, listening, and reflecting on how we can all actively participate in truth and reconciliation—on and off the trails. 🧡

October 3 & 4 is shaping up to be one of the best weekends of the year at Crawford! Whether you're bringing the family for fun laps, chasing podium times, or helping us run the show, here’s what’s dropping:

🎉 SATURDAY: 10th Annual Funduro

Relaxed, fun-first riding on green and blue trails.

Choose your own adventure across 4 stages (2 with optional chip timing!)

Youth Skills Stations: Hosted in partnership with School of MTB to help young riders dial in fundamentals, drops, and corners before dropping into the course!

⚡ SUNDAY: 5th Annual Classic Enduro

The courses are officially LIVE on Trailforks! Search "Cranksgiving Enduro 2026" to study your lines.

Choose between Short Course (3 Stages) and Long Course (4 Stages) with professional Zone4 timing.

Out-of-town guest passes are available if you’re traveling in for the race!

🤝 CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:
Not racing? We need marshals, setup/teardown hands, timing assistants, and BBQ legends to make this event run smoothly. Volunteers get free lunch, swag, raffle entries, and frontline views of the racing action!

Love dropping into a fresh, dialed trail on race day? Come help make it happen. 🛠️✨🚲

There is nothing better than dropping into a trail with clean sightlines, freshly shaped berms, and pristine tread. But hero dirt doesn't maintain itself—it takes our community showing up with tools in hand!

Join us this Saturday, September 26 at 9:00 AM for our Pre-Cranksgiving Trail Day at Crawford Trails (staging at the Myra Day Use Area).

We’re spending the morning tuning up corners, clearing brush, and dialing in the official lines for both the Saturday Funduro and Sunday Enduro stages.

No experience needed: Our trail crew provides all the tools, guidance, and project leads.

What to bring: Sturdy shoes/boots, work gloves, plenty of water, and your trail stoke.

Perks: Good karma, trail snacks, and the bragging rights of riding a track you helped shape!

Whether you're planning to race Cranksgiving on Oct 3–4 or just ride Crawford on your weekends, this is your chance to give back to the dirt you love.

Huge appreciation to the crew who came out to put in the work at Jack Seaton Park! The lines have been cleaned up, the corners are shaped, and the dirt is running pristine.

A special shout-out to Alan from Trail Co and his team for dropping by and lending a hand—it’s awesome having experienced trail pros who care so much about our local network out on the dirt with us.

While the turnout was intimate this time around, the energy was high and the trail results speak for themselves. That said, trail stewardship only happens when our community rallies together.

Missed this one? Don’t worry—we’re doing it all over again this Saturday at Crawford Trails!

Help us prep the dirt and shape the stages for Cranksgiving before race plates go on. We bring the tools, snacks, and guidance—you just bring your stoke.
