Here's what we're working on this month at Limestone Athletics:
Olympic Lift Cluster Sets: You'll continue to see cluster sets incorporated into our Olympic lifting work. These short rest periods within a set allow you to maintain speed, power, and technique while handling challenging loads.
Running in the Heat: With warmer temperatures finally on the way, we'll continue building running volume in workouts. Training in warmer conditions presents a unique challenge, but it's also an opportunity to improve endurance, pacing, and mental toughness.
We're ready for summer! See you at the gym!

That 2 p.m. energy crash you keep pushing through? It’s not random and apparently it’s not something more coffee will fix (sorry).
In this month’s Wellness Corner, Jackie breaks down what’s actually causing the afternoon slump and how to support more steady, consistent energy throughout your day. These are simple shifts you can make to how you’re eating, hydrating, and fueling.
If you’re training regularly or moving through full, busy days, this is a helpful place to start. You can find the link to the full article in our June email newsletter.

He’s been part of Limestone Athletics since November and says the biggest shift has been his energy, not just in the gym, but throughout his entire week.
You’ll usually find him working on pull-ups and enjoying the small wins along the way.

Wellness Corner:
Most people think injury recovery is all about rest and rehab… but what you eat while recovering can make a big difference too.
In this month’s Wellness Corner, Jackie breaks down how to support your body through recovery with the right balance of protein, carbohydrates, micronutrients, healthy fats, and hydration. You’ll learn how nutrition can help preserve muscle, support repair, and give your body the resources it needs to recover well.
If you’re navigating an injury, or just want to better understand how to fuel recovery, find the link to the full article in our May email newsletter.
