I am still trying to wrap my head around the loss of Randolph Performing Arts Centre. This magical place gave me the skills I needed to thrive in an industry that can be challenging. I know I mentioned a few teachers I was grateful to but I wanted to mention some more Alina Adjemian Desirée Champion Castingroom Stephanie George Randolph Ron Singer Tara Montague-Restagno Noreen Waibel D.E.R.E.K. Patti Milne Sean Frederick So many other wonderful people who gave me an opportunity to explore my talents. I know I have missed people and I sincerely apologize. My classmates, what a ride we had I am so appreciative of our time together, I miss you all. To the students, there is a wealth of knowledge in our alumni community. Always such a pleasure to adjudicate Rising Star competition The Ex / The Canadian National Exhibition (The CNE) The bravery and dedication to each person who takes a chance on their talent, is inspiring. We could all learn a little something from these amazing young people. Glad my fam jam could accompany me to the event♥️

YENSA FESTIVAL has been a source of much needed inspiration. Check out their classes and shows happening today and tomorrow. Classes are happening Canada’sNationalBalletSchool and the show is tonight at Betty Oliphant theatre 7:30 and tomorrow!

I stumbled upon a message in my instagram inbox about an organization looking for applications for black female choreographer’s to participate in a choreography lab. I have tried in the past to participate in other choreography labs and was rejected, but to my surprise I and was selected to join .
I do not believe in coincidence I believe things happen for a reason. The opportunity to participate in the Yensa Festival 2026 Choreography Lab produced by Lua Shayenne Dance Company and dance Immersion was a unique experience. Surrounded by other artists who have interests in choreography was a true blessing. To watch everyones process and to be included in discussions rooted in personal reflection, community and collaboration was a beautiful way to spend my Saturday. I was able to explore my own depth as an artist and that was something I didn’t know I needed until I was there. A fantastic group of women were led by Lisa Karen Cox and N A T A S H A P O W E L L These facilitators helped us to feel safe and opened us up to explore. To me just being in the room was a blessing♥️ Thank you for the experience
