What a way to end an epic expedition but with a dreamy crossing. Neptune gave us an easy passage to Bute then reminded us who was boss on the way back through the Cumbrae’s.

We had a mix of conditions and some great tides to manage but that is what we sought - adventure and challenge. A great team for a great adventure.

Just taking in the Mountains. Beautiful weather on the Isle of Arran, perfect for our final day circumnavigating. Tomorrow, the return crossing to the mainland.

Wake up in beautiful wild spaces. Expeditions are the perfect place to take in the natural world. Waking up on an isolated shore as the sun rises hearing the sounds of nature awakening with the slight roar of a Kelly kettle, waiting for that first warming drink while sipping in the wilderness around you. This is bliss.
