We know there’ll be a few nerves this morning, but whatever is written on that piece of paper, you should all be proud of yourselves and the work you’ve put in to get here.

A massive congratulations to Sean Coughlan from everyone at Queensbury ARLFC on being selected to represent Yorkshire Academy in this year’s Academy Origin Series!

A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. It’s great to see Sean’s hard work and commitment being rewarded, and we’re incredibly proud to see💙

Our Race Night is coming up on Saturday 5th September, and we’d love to get as many of our players, families, friends and supporters involved as possible! 💙

Head Coach Steve Crossley Shared His Thoughts:

" Really proud of the efforts from those lads who made themselves available today. There was a good 5 or 6 lads, as well as myself, who shouldn't have played today with injuries, etc. But these boys rolled their sleeves up and dug in for their mates and didn't want to let each other down.

Proud of their effors. We've only lost 3 games in 18 months so we take the losses as well as the wins, and be humble with it.

Fresh off the back of making his Super League debut for Bradford Bulls v Hull KR. Our very own Alfie Leake came to put our Under 14’s through their paces at Tuesday nights training session.

He also made some time to meet some of our Under 8’s and Under 10’s! He is an example to those now following in his footsteps here at Queensbury ARLFC that with the right attitude, effort, adaptability, commitment and openness to learn and be coachable, that hopes and dreams are achievable! 💙
