Chippenham are coming to town. 👀

We've got a friendly this Thursday, 24th September, at Aretians RFC, with kick off at 7pm.

This one is mixed gender and open to everyone. Whether you've played AFL before or have never touched an oval ball, you're welcome to get involved. All you need to do is reach out. Send us a DM and we'll get you sorted.

Not keen to play? Come down and cheer us on. It's a midweek match under the lights, so it would be rude not to. Bring a mate.

What a day!

Massive thanks to Liam, our insider at S3 for helping us get this organised and sorting us out on the day, and to Macc for pulling the whole thing together! The club is lucky to have you!

And of course, thanks to everyone who came down and gave it a go. Skill levels ranged from absolute beginners to annoyingly good, and it was great to see everyone getting involved.

If you are interested in playing AFL in Bristol, please send us a message!

That's a wrap for the 2026 WARFL Season and the Bristol Dockers had an unbelievable second place finish!

🏉 FINALS DAY: August 8th 2026

Game 1 vs Nottingham Scorps (3rd v 4th)
The day started with the 3rd v 4th battle against Nottingham Scorpions. It was a tight match, but belief grew throughout, and the Dockers were able to find the scoreboard late to seal their first win of the season.

Game 2 vs Manchester
No rest for the wicked as the Dockers backed it up straight away against Manchester. Both teams came out strong, but our lads kept clawing ahead. Manchester surged late, forcing a nervy finish, but the Dockers held on by a goal to book their spot in the granny.

The Final vs Cardiff Panthers
The contest against Cardiff was physical from the start. Despite the Dockers' best efforts, they couldn't find an answer for the Cardiff attack, finishing runners-up on the day.

Props to all for the excellent day and well run season, couldn't be prouder of a second place finish that exceeded our expectations.

📆Training will continue to run on Saturdays (10:30am @ Clifton Downs) until the weather turns! Welcome to all genders and skill levels - great time at the pub afterwards.

A night where the footys were swapped for football as our AFL club came together to cheer on the Socceroos! Not the result we wanted, but it was great to get together to support our boys ⚽🇦🇺🦘

A few of the Dockers headed over to Cardiff a couple of weeks ago for a handful of games. Plenty of running about, followed by a few Fosters in the park. 🍻🏉
