Our Off Season Netball Program launches in just under a week and we are so excited.

A program to give you structure throughout the summer months - helping you become stronger, faster and more capable so when season starts you are ready to go.

Every week I have lots of conversations with clients. Conversations are a big part of what coaching is about. Asking questions, listening to the answer and then being able to help that client take the next step from where they are.

Sometimes it’s perspective shifts, other times implementing different ways to approach something or making small tweaks to what they may be struggling with to allow them to keep showing up.

Small repeated habits compound and everything takes time.

But the goal is to help them to keep showing up, so they can see it all pay off and actually create the change they want.

We need upper body strength (and yes, this still applies to you even if you’re not a shooter).

Being able to hold space on court, have more explosive power behind your balls, improved accuracy when passing will all elevate your game. Alongside, shoulders doing a lot of work on court so training them in the gym to get stronger helps reduce the risk of injury on court.

Netball is a physical game so having more upper body strength and resilience will only play dividends to your game play.

We’re starting our off season program June 1st which will include all the elements you need to get you feeling stronger, fitter and ready to go at the beginning of netball season.

Training is not a short term thing. It’s a life long element that can be fun and meaningful done in the right way.

Sometimes we need to think about it differently in order to get a different outcome than what we currently have.

Intention goes a long way.

The off-season isn’t about doing more for the sake of it. It’s about being specific and having purpose.

So when you come back into next season…you’re not just maintaining, you’re operating at a whole new level.

Having more confidence.
Feeling stronger in your body.
Being able to say yes to more things.

It’s worth it I promise.

*I also still get these thoughts from time to time (its normal) but the difference now is, it doesn’t stop me from training

In an industry that is often promoting more

More workouts.
Greater intensity.
Bigger goals.

More is not always better.

If you’re wanting to get strong, you need to train hard but you also have to be able to recover.

Do what you’re doing well, with intensity and enjoyment. Refine and streamline 🤘🏽

You will never get to a point of strength that you don’t have to work for it (sadly 🥲). It’s a continuous effort overtime so finding a way for it to fit your life week in/out and give back what you put in is imperative.

Get stronger and enjoy the process doing it.
