1x bodybuilding competition + 2 silver medals.

5:25 mile + 525lbs (238kg) squat in the same day

1x ATHX competition + 1x ATHX Pro Finals

240kg Squat, 145kg Bench Press, 260kg deadlift and a win in the 93kg category of my powerlifting competition.

I had a lot to prove to myself over the past few years and can proudly say I put everything into it all. I’ve learned a lot in all the different modalities. Hybrid training, powerlifting, bodybuilding, functional fitness. I’ve done it all so I could learn it all and ultimately find what I enjoy and what I want to persue.

The more competitions I’ve done, the less important they feel, not because I don’t want to do well, but because I have slowly made myself proud of my commitments and abilities.

I think more people should set themselves challenges that push them, the more you do, the more you overcome, the more proud you can be of yourself and the less you’ll feel like you have to prove.

If you are scared to try something, you should probably do it. You never know, you might surprise yourself.

You are strong
You are confident
You are enough

What are your Habit Dams?

For ages mine has always been the habit of having a coffee in the morning while I read. If I start my day like that I feel like I’ve already won and feel like I’m on the road to success for the day.

I find the concept interesting because the most successful clients are the ones who can get straight back to their plan after coming off. Noticing how one habit can get my clients focus back has been interesting and got me wondering if there are any more out there for people?

It’s always been hard for me when I am having a bad head day to get into the day I had planned and i find by reading it helps my head and allows me to carry on without beating myself up.

You can’t achieve your goal because the stakes aren’t big enough. There is not a big enough reason to make the change you are trying to make.

Goals either have to be linked to the life you want or linked to the life you are trying to get away from and your greatest pain. If they are linked to both, well then you will be highly motivated

Your training split can stay the same, the number of sets you do can stay the same and your rep ranges can stay the same. Just make this change and watch it make a difference.

Hit the muscle group twice per week or as frequently as you can while still making progress and keep pushing to failure.

I think exercise programming makes the biggest difference with muscle growth, just behind exercise ex*****on.

My Why: I want fewer people to feel alone, hopeless and trapped.

Life is hard as it is, not liking yourself at the same time makes it harder.

If you are struggling, it does get better, you just have to put all you have into it. Every resource, time, money and energy into trying to get out of the hole you are in, and towards the life you want.

You gain strength in movements by having more muscle fibres to contract and by getting better at the skill of the movement.

I am legit in the middle of nowhere in France and we’ve found this little gem hiding away 𝘖𝘗𝘛𝘐𝘔𝘜𝘔 𝘌𝘕𝘌𝘙𝘎𝘠 - I can’t believe my luck haha.

A little leg session to kick things off and trying to find my grove again.

All workouts are powered by pastries and a black coffee, I’m just missing the Molboro Gold and I’d be in a movie 😮‍💨

I’m spending the mornings working, days reading and trying to find my Why again, then my evenings BBQing.

What I’ve learnt about finding your Why with work:
The actual job or business you create can be anything when your Why is strong enough. The reason you do what you do is based on Why you do it. Which means anything that aligns with your Why, can be What you do.

It’s been productive and I’m super relaxed. The French are basically horizontal they are so laid back.

Allez les blue!
