Pregnancy doesn’t have to mean “eating for two” or throwing every healthy habit out of the window. 🤍

This is a realistic day of eating on holiday while pregnant. No food guilt. No strict rules. No “being good” or “being bad.”

I chose foods that were rich in nutrients because my body and my growing baby need them, but I also made room for foods I genuinely enjoyed. Because nutrition isn’t about perfection—it’s about balance.

For me, mindful eating means asking:
✨ What will nourish me?
✨ What will satisfy me?
✨ What will make this holiday enjoyable?

You can prioritise your health without obsessing over every bite, and you can enjoy your food without feeling like you’ve “gone off track.”

Pregnancy, holidays, and life in general don’t need to be all or nothing. They can look like colourful meals, ice creams in the sunshine, family dinners, and listening to what your body needs.

Because building a healthy relationship with food is just as important as getting the nutrients in. 💛

We’ve been keeping a secret 🤫

Baby List due 05.12.2026 and we couldn’t be happier 🥰🤍

Nutrition is so much more than weight loss. ✨

My goal as a nutritionist isn’t simply to help people change the way they look — it’s to help them change the way they understand, trust and nourish their bodies. 🤍

I specialise in:
• Nutritional education 📚
• Supporting those struggling with binge eating and disordered eating patterns
• Helping individuals recovering from anorexia rebuild a healthier relationship with food
• Sports nutrition and fuelling performance 💪
• Peri-menopausal & menopausal nutrition and supporting women through hormonal changes 🌿

Food should never feel confusing, frightening or controlling.

When you invest in learning about nutrition, you’re investing in your health, your mindset, your future and your quality of life. You’re choosing to prioritise yourself — not just for now, but long term.

Because nutrition isn’t about punishment.
It’s about empowerment. ✨

The sun is absolutely SHINNING this weekend! Why not use it as an excuse to cook a meal you’ve not had for ages?

As a very busy Mum who works two jobs and balances life … I know how easy it can be to fall into the trap of having the same meals week in week out

Don’t get me wrong, when you’re trying to manage time, eat nutritiously and eat on a budget - repeated meals can be an absolute life saver!

But every now and then it’s nice to take the time to actually put thought into my foods.
What am I craving?
What haven’t I had for a while?
What foods do I get jealous of when people post?

And a 3 day weekend with plenty of sunshine is the perfect opportunity!
Wholesome salads 🥗
Maybe a dish you tried on holiday that reminds you of the sunshine 🌞
Childhood favourites that you avoid because of the “calories” but that bring you pure joy!

I challenge you this weekend - cook yourself something you’ve not had for ages! And let me know below 👇

Today’s post is simple…

Theres so many diets out there telling you what to eat, what not to eat, how much, how little… but when you break everything down to basics, it’s a lot easier than that.

If your nutrition is colourful - I’m talking no beige plates but bright colourful food - and yes M&Ms can occasionally count 😉
If your nutrition is satisfying - meaning you aren’t instantly wanting to eat something else straight after - we see you fridge raiders
And if your nutrition allows you freedom - I’m talking no restriction to any foods, everything is allowed - in moderation

If all of those things are true - you are HEALTHY 🤍

Funny how a photo can look so simple.
Burger, fries, a nice evening 🍔🍟

What you can’t see is how loud my head was -
Counting, stressing, checking the menu over and over,
Already thinking about how I’d make up for it later.

I wasn’t really there. I wasn’t enjoying it.
I just wanted it to be over.

Looking back now, it’s strange how “normal” this moment looks on the outside, when inside it felt anything but.
A reminder that you never really know what someone is carrying from just a snapshot 📸

4 years on, things feel very different.
Not perfect, but quieter.
More space to actually sit, eat, laugh, and be present without everything being about numbers 🤍

If you’re in that place right now…
I know how heavy it can feel
But it can get better, even if it’s slowly, even if it doesn’t feel like it yet

Grateful for how far I’ve come 🤍

If you’re eating loads of fibre… but still not going 💩👇

You’re missing the most important piece.

💧 WATER.

Fibre doesn’t work on its own.
It needs water to do its job — to soften, bulk, and actually move things along.

Without enough fluids?
That “healthy high-fibre diet” can actually make things feel worse 😅

Before you add more chia seeds, supplements or veg…
Ask yourself: am I actually drinking enough?

Simple. Not sexy. But it works.

Your gut will thank you 🤍

Some food struggles don’t look obvious…

They look like being “on track”
Being “disciplined”
Being “healthy”

But underneath that…
There’s guilt; pressure, and CONSTANT noise 🧠

And most people never question it…
Because it seems normal

If you felt seen reading this - save it! 📌

Not to fix everything overnight,
But to start noticing what you’ve been ignoring 🤍

What slide hit you the hardest? 👇

Ok you guys asked for it…

My Honeymoon eats 💛✨

Every meal, every dessert, every “yes I’ll have that too” moment… and I still lost weight.

Not because I restricted.
Not because I tracked every calorie.
But because food is more than numbers.

It’s connection.
It’s culture.
It’s memories you’ll never get back.

You don’t need to “earn” your meals.
You don’t need to feel guilty for enjoying your life.

When you learn to trust your body, eat with intention, and drop the all-or-nothing mindset… everything changes.

This is your reminder:
You can enjoy the food AND feel good in your body 🤍

I used to think this would be impossible.

That if I went away, ate more, stopped tracking, had dessert every day… I’d come back feeling out of control and needing to “fix it”

But that only ever happened when I was stuck in extremes

When I was…
Restricting before events ⛔️
Labelling foods as “good” and “bad” ⚖️
Relying on tracking to feel in control 📱

This time it was different.

Not because I was more “disciplined”….
But because I WASN’T

I didn’t diet hard before my wedding 💍
I didn’t swing between restriction and overdoing it🎢
I didn’t attach guilt to food on holiday🍫

So there was nothing to rebound FROM

And that’s the part most people miss!

You don’t need more control.
You need a better relationship with food 🤍

Because when you trust your body:
You don’t need to micromanage it!
You don’t panic after eating more!
And you don’t feel like every break = starting over

For me, not tracking isn’t “letting go” -
It’s actually when I feel the MOST in control 💪

And that’s a very different kind of confidence 🤍

If this feels far away from where you are right now, that’s ok - but it IS possible ✨

Start by asking yourself:

“Do I actually trust myself around food… or just the rules I follow?”

💬I’d love to know your answer!
