HYROX PRO Solo debut ✔️
And WHAT a place to experience it 😮💨🤩
Probably the best place I’ll ever race, full race debrief coming in a couple days.
For now, we stay blessed to be able to be over here doing what we love to do and having a body fit and healthy enough to allow us to do these hard things.
Pro Solo Time: 1:11:11 (2 min penalty on the last run for bantz)
The time I deserved on the day and can hold my head high with how I raced. Pushing limits and living by the code “f**k a comfort zone” 🖕🏽
One of the strangest parts of training for an event isn’t the hard sessions…
It’s the week before 🥴
You spend months building fitness, pushing sessions, chasing progression and then suddenly you’re told to do less 🤷🏼♂️
For a lot of people that feels uncomfortable.
You start feeling slower.
You question whether you’ve done enough.
You convince yourself you’re losing fitness.
But that’s not what tapering is.
A good taper isn’t losing fitness.
It’s reducing fatigue.
Giving your body the opportunity to recover, absorb the training and arrive fresh enough to actually show the fitness you’ve already built.
You’re not meant to feel fitter this week
You’re meant to feel ready…
If you’ve got an event coming up and your mind is starting to play games with you, that’s normal
