We are running a new six-week Learn to Play Squash course with our new squash coach Francesca Whyte at the club, taking place each Friday starting this week.

The course is ideal for beginners or those looking to improve their basics.

The tennis and padel courts have been busy this morning as members take advantage of the fantastic summer conditions.

While the sunshine is perfect for getting out on court, please remember to stay safe in the heat:

✅ Take breaks in the shade when needed

🏆 We are now taking entries for our 2026 Veterans' Club Tennis Championships!

Entries close Saturday 22 August at midday, so make sure you don't miss out. The tournament is open to full members aged 45 or over., with a great range of events including men's and women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

🎾💪 Good luck to our members Maureen and Megan as they head into the LTA Play Your Way to Wimbledon National Final this morning on the grass courts of SW19!

After a fantastic week of tennis, they've earned their place in the final with some outstanding performances against strong opposition.

✅ Quarter Final: 6-3, 2-6, 10-2
✅ Semi Final: 7-5, 6-4

We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved to reach this stage. Competing in the National Final at Wimbledon is a remarkable accomplishment and a reward for all their hard work, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition.
