🌱 17th Green – What a Difference! 👏⛳️

Earlier this year, our 17th green suffered significant damage from leatherjackets, leaving the team with a major repair and recovery job.

What followed was weeks of hard work, patience and careful maintenance from Jack and the team. The green has had plenty of attention throughout the summer, allowing the turf time to recover and the playing surface to be brought back to where we wanted it 🌱

And the results really speak for themselves… just look at it now! 🤩

It’s fantastic to see it looking this good again, and it’s a great example of the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the course in the best possible condition ✅

A huge well done to the whole team for the time, effort and care they’ve put into getting it back looking brilliant. 👏

🌱 Important Course Maintenance Underway

Over the next couple of days, Jack and the team will be out on the course carrying out some important deep aeration work as we prepare the course for the winter months 🚜

Using the Redexim Verti-Quake, the team will be carrying out linear aeration across key areas of the course and driving range to relieve compaction, improve drainage and encourage healthy root growth ahead of the winter ❄️

One of the key benefits of this method is that linear aeration has much less impact on the playing surface, allowing us to carry out essential work while keeping disruption to play to a minimum ⛳️

This is an important part of our ongoing course maintenance programme and will help keep the playing surfaces in the best possible condition as we head into winter ✅
