With today's results confirmed we can confirm we have finished top of the pile this season and guaranteed a home semi final in the play-offs.
Brighouse we're unfortunately unable to raise a team so we were awarded a walkover victory. Hunslet were also unable to field a side away at Osset which means the race for third and fourth is now wide open. We will update with fixture details when we know.
Before that we need to complete our regular fixtures and the lads will have two tough games in the run in starting with now 2nd placed Osset on Friday night. Kick off 19:00 at Prospect Rd. The following week we travel to Hunslet to round off our league campaign.
We hope to see you all down on Friday night and into the play-offs!! πππ

On Sunday Toll Bar Masters played against Dodworth Miners at the Eco Power stadium in the curtain raiser for the Dons v Hurricanes league game.
Toll Bar players appeared from out of the woodwork to take up the opportunity to play on such a lush playing surface instead of the recent dust bowls theyβve had to endure.
The game was played in an excellent spirit, each team giving huge respect to their opponent.
After a recent slump in form Toll Bar hit the ground running, playing some attractive, attacking rugby marshalled around the field by Shane Southgate and the returning Kev Jones.
Excellent tries by Shane Southgate and Thom Goodchild set Toll Bar on their way but were pegged back by two well worked tries by Dodworth who started to stamp their authority on the game.
With the game going into the final stages up stepped Luke Lindop to score the final try of the game.
Again the match was played in extreme conditions well refereed by Andy Wedgwood and Michael Hanson.
This performance was described as one of the best of the season and fully deserved the 0-0 result at the end.

On Saturday 8th August Toll Bar Masters played host to Hull Warriors. Hull arrived a couple of players light and a big thank you to Kevin Gregory and John Morton for guesting.
A couple of regular players were missing for Toll Bar resulting in Reid Garrity, Wayne Morton and Neil Pease playing out of their normal positions.
The game was played on a field of straw and in sweltering conditions. With it being very firm under foot it was another opportunity for the speedsters to ply their trade with tries from Luke Lindop, Chris Jeeves (following a lovely timed pass from Shabba), Thom Goodchild (2), Steve Patterson (2) and Jim Hamilton,
The Warriors never gave in and were rewarded with three well worked tries of their own.
Special mention to referee Andy Wedgwood who clearly recognised the hazardous conditions, reffing the game in a sensible manner to reduce the risk of injuries.
Although plenty of tries were scored in an entertaining game as always the scoreline finishes 0-0 and the only winner is rugby league.

Our 1st team fixture list has been updated to reflect the rearranged league matches we recently missed. We now have a string of Home games in August with our final league game being away at Hunslet.
Please note the upcoming match scheduled for 8th August has been put down as a 24-0 victory as Newcastle are unfortunately unable to field a squad at Prospect Rd.
We hope as many of you as possible can join us for the remaining four league games and help cheer on the lads at the business end of the season.
Stay tuned for special offers for our remaining home league games!!!πππ
