The view was incredible. The message was even better.

Standing at the top of North Berwick Law, looking out towards Bass Rock, I spotted the words:

"Live for the Moment."

It got me thinking about how many people spend their lives looking backwards at things they can't change or worrying about a future that hasn't happened yet.

Whether it's starting a fitness journey, changing careers, or making any big life decision, fear of the unknown often keeps us stuck exactly where we are.

The truth is, growth happens when we stop waiting for the perfect time and start taking action today.

Learn from the past. Plan for the future.

But don't forget to live in the present.

From feeling anxious about stepping into a gym... to building the confidence to stop worrying about what other people think.

This is exactly how both Charlotte and Sarah felt before they started their journey with me.

And if you're reading this, chances are you can relate.

💪 Charlotte came to me lacking confidence and feeling intimidated by the gym environment. In less than 12 weeks, she lost over a stone in weight and 11 inches from her waist.

The biggest change? Not some extreme diet or crazy workout plan.

She simply stayed consistent, showed up to her sessions, and made a few small tweaks to her eating habits.

💪 Sarah was already going to the gym, but cardio was the only thing she felt comfortable doing. Like many women, she wasn't confident using weights and didn't really know where to start.

Together, we introduced strength training into her programme, and the results were incredible. Over 10 weeks, Sarah lost 11lbs while significantly increasing the weights she was lifting.

Friday Reminder..

I know a lot of ladies are already thinking:

"I'll be good next week."

But real progress isn't built between Monday and Friday.

It's built over weekends too.

Not through restriction.
Not through punishment.
Not through saying no to every social event.

It's built by making small choices consistently.

Going for a walk.
Getting some fresh air.
Moving your body.
Choosing balance over perfection.

Because the goal isn't to be perfect for 5 days and then write off the other 2.

The goal is to build a lifestyle you can actually enjoy.

That's where lasting results come from.

So, instead of focusing on being "good" this weekend, ask yourself:

"I'm the strongest I've ever been before turning 50."

That's exactly what Rachael achieved. 💪

Having worked with a previous PT, Rachael already had a good understanding of strength training and gym equipment. She wanted that extra push, structure, and accountability to take her strength to the next level before hitting 50.

And the results speak for themselves...

You don't have to do it alone ❤️

One of the things that's most important to me as a coach is getting to know my clients beyond the gym floor.

Of course, I want to help women lose weight, get stronger, and feel more confident, but I also know that lasting results come from having the right support around you.

For me, personal training is about so much more than the sessions themselves.

It's about building relationships, understanding the challenges my clients face, celebrating their wins, supporting them through the difficult weeks, and creating an environment where they feel comfortable being themselves.

That's why I love bringing my clients together outside the gym too.

It's a chance to relax, have a laugh, share experiences, and spend time with like-minded women who understand the challenges of balancing work, family, and looking after themselves.

Over the years I've seen so many friendships form through our community, and it's one of the things I'm most proud of.
