Watching Ollie’s progress has been extraordinary.

MAX & ARTHUR. TWO PLAYERS. TWO AGE GROUPS. ONE BIG WEEKEND.

A special moment for DJ7 this weekend as Max and Arthur were both selected for the Team of the Tournament, after being recognised by Premier League player Tyler Dibling as players who stood out.

⚡️ Max stepped up an age group and competed in the U10s, demonstrating consistent attacking skill and shining against older players.

⚡️ Arthur played at U9 level and consistently stood out with his confidence, technical ability and willingness to express himself.

Different challenges. Different environments. Same DJ7 principles.

This is what the DJ7 methodology is built for. ⚡️

The 1v1 doesn’t suddenly become easy.

The game simply starts to slow down.

Hours and hours of purposeful practice build the technical foundation. Repetition creates familiarity. Familiarity builds confidence. And confidence gives players the freedom to make decisions rather than panic under pressure.

When you truly own the ball, you have more time.

You see the defender.
You recognise the space.
You choose the move.
You execute.

And that’s when you start to dominate the 1v1.

Watching Albert do this now is something I’m incredibly proud of - not because he’s my son, but because I know the work that sits behind those moments.

The touches nobody sees.
The repetitions nobody counts.
The mistakes.
