What a day yesterday!

Well done to our team of 10 competitors and a massive thank you to Callum McNeil for umpiring on behalf of the club at the ITF Scotland National Championships - a brilliant effort from everyone and to say I am proud of each of you is an understatement.

Finishing 9th overall in the medal table with 10 competitors is a great result for the club.

Thank you to all of our members and parents for the support that everyone gave each other throughout the day. Can’t do it without you guys.

Huge thank you to the organisers for your efforts and a big thank you to all umpires giving up their time to make sure these competitions can go ahead. What a brilliant atmosphere there was the entire day.

Looking forward to the next competition with hopefully a bigger squad in September - details will be out soon.

The club will be holding a fundraiser at the Ugie House Hotel on Saturday 6th June 2026 to raise money for the club. The money raised will be used to purchase new equipment for the continued development of the students and to assist with the attendance at local & national competition.

Table of 10 = £250
Individual ticket = £30

(food provided - stovies/sausage rolls & tea/coffee)

The club is looking for a main event sponsor @ £250 along with 8 race sponsors @ £100 each (you will need to provide 8 horse names for each race sponsored)

Any local business who would be kind enough to donate raffle prizes for our raffle on the night of event.

All sponsors will be highlighted on social media and off course will be displayed and thanked on tbe night.

Please get in touch ASAP for tickets as these will be sell fast or if you would like to be one of our sponsors.

We only have 5 weeks left until our Race Night.

Tickets still available for the night or if you cannot make it along we have 2 races still to sponsor.

Please remember that the gym will be closed this coming week for all Taekwondo-do and fitness classes as I attend the European Championships in Maribor, Slovenia as National Team coach with ITF Scotland
