Will you donate to Rhona Joss Tournament 2025? 25/09/2025

This Saturday, the club will proudly host the 2nd Rhona Joss Memorial Tournament 🎾.

The event is held in memory of Rhona Joss – a much-loved former President, Treasurer, and keen social player – who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2018.

Her husband Keith, and son Fraser, have organised the tournament with the wonderful support of Mark Taylor, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that was very close to Rhona’s heart 💚.

The tournament begins at 10am and will carry a coffee-morning theme ☕️.

Everyone is warmly welcome to come along, enjoy some tennis, and spend time socialising at the club.

If you would like to make a donation to Macmillan, you can do so here: -

Our Gents 1st team finished their season in division 3 with a strong win against Newlands 3rd team last night.

Well done to everyone involved and fingers crossed it is enough for promotion to division 2, which would be the teams 5th promotion in a row 👏🎾.

It was brilliant for our venue to host and be involved in this event on Saturday.

We were lucky to have amazing weather, accompanied by over 40 players and spectators who had a brilliant time socialising and playing tennis ☀️🎾.

Huge well done to Allwyn and her team, it was a fantastic event that brought joy to so many individuals👏.

A big thanks to Mark and Rebecca for supporting the day as well ⭐️.
