Can never start them too young, these two had a great time having a go on a buddy system. I don’t think the plane knew what hit it! But it’s always a win when there’s no crashes.

It’s not just model aeroplanes we fly at the Glasgow Barnstormers, we fly Drones and Quads too!

If you got one at Christmas, be it a DJI Drone, FPV Quad or a Temu special and you are looking for somewhere safe to fly it, come along to the club! Most of our members fly these and can give you some top tips.

At the Glasgow Barnstormers we’ve been hit with the 3D printing bug and been flying all sorts of 3D printed planes.

Fancy learning to fly model airplanes and building something like these? Get in touch, new members are always welcome. We can even teach you to fly!

While we wait on the new runway being finished (not long now), there’s some time to reflect and reminisce on the great times and friends the hobby has given us - some sadly not with us anymore. It’s not the planes - it’s the pals!
