I know this might not be a popular opinion, but I don't believe injecting yourself is a better option than learning how to fuel your body properly, move regularly, and build healthy habits that last.
Years ago, I struggled with eating disorders and an unhealthy relationship with food. I spent far too long believing that being smaller automatically meant being healthier or happier. It took me years to learn that food isn't the enemy, it's fuel. Exercise isn't a punishment, it's a celebration of what your body can do.
The journey wasn't quick, and it certainly wasn't easy. I had to unlearn a lot of damaging beliefs and teach myself how to nourish my body, build strength, and appreciate what health truly looks like. For me, health isn't about chasing the smallest number on the scales. It's about having energy, strength, confidence, and a positive relationship with food and exercise.
I understand that everyone has their own journey, and what works for one person may not work for another. But I will always encourage people to learn sustainable habits, educate themselves about nutrition, and find movement they enjoy. Because when you build healthy foundations, you're investing in your future health, not just a quick result.

Today, my future sister in law and I are running Race for Life in honour of one of the most incredible women in our lives who is bravely battling cancer. One of the most strongest and bravest women we know.
Cancer affects so many families, and today we run with love, hope, and determination in our hearts. Every step we take is for her strength, courage, and resilience through this incredibly difficult journey.
We are so proud of her and inspired every day by the fight she continues to show. This run is for you, and for everyone affected by cancer.
