Hi, hope you’re all having a nice day. I’m between schools spreading some ☀️ on this gloomy day! Today we have practiced mindfulness eating.
Popcorn is always a firm favourite. We used all our senses;
👀 first we looked at the popcorn, discussed shapes and colours.
👃 then we smelt the popcorn which some children told me smelt of the cinema.
👄 we popped it in our mouth, moving it around without chewing.
👅 finally we got to taste the popcorn.
This activity teaches children patience and mindfulness eating. 🧘‍♀️ 😊

Hoping everyone’s 2026 is off to a good start. This year my focus is to fill my cup with each of these things and find balance by doing more things that bring joy 🤩 🧘‍♀️ ✌🏻 🌳 ☀️💆🏻‍♀️🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🐶

Completed an Indian head Massage course today with the amazing Chelle from The Hygge Hub Loved every minute and can’t wait to start practising this wonderful treatment. Holding space for people is such a privilege. 💆🏻‍♀️ 🥰

Nice to be back delivering yoga and wellbeing sessions in schools! Lovely to see so many smiling faces, brightening up this gloomy day 🌈 ☀️ 😊 🧘‍♀️

1 year ago today since I qualified as a yoga teacher! 🧘‍♀️
Still loving this journey and have met so many wonderful people along the way.
I’m taking a break from delivering children and adult yoga over summer to enjoy some time with family and friends.
I will be back on the mat in September.

I’ve just delivered a wonderful yoga session with amazing children! We spoke about gratitude and feelings, practiced box breathing, worked on our balance in tree pose 🌳 played games and focussed our minds during our guided relaxation!
