U8s Tournament Report | Monday 25th May 2026

Cargo took on the Game Of Tournaments Junior World Cup this morning in some blistering temperatures.

Cargo started strong in the group stages going 4 games unbeaten with some fantastic football played in all games. Cargo then started to struggle with the heat and against some fantastic oppositions which resulted in them finishing in the Silver Cup Knock Out Stages.

Semi Final - Cargo started electric and scored multiple quick fire goals within the first 5 minutes and went in on a high at HT. Prisick brought 2 back but that didn’t stop Fleet who were relentless in the Semi Final and netted a few more to take them to the Silver Cup Final.

Final - a really competitive, tough game between Cargo and Whitby Fisherman. An end to end game with all players on the pitch giving in their all in the extreme heat. Cargo managed to get themselves into the lead and went 1-0 up with a fantastic finish with a couple of minutes to go. Cargo managed to hold out against some strong pressure from Whitby to secure the silverware in the Final.

A huge congratulations to Fleet who battled fantastically all day in the sun & an all round brilliant team display.

Cargo U10 vs New Cargo U10

All I gotta say is wow wow wow what a game! From the start to finishing both teams played unbelievable. Constant attacking and pressing. 1st half New Cargo came away with a goal to put them up, 5 minutes later Cargo U10s brought it back another from a good pass & play and Ollie slotted it bottom right. From restart Cargo U10s kept the pressure up wanting another one. We got given a corner and Ollie managed to score from a corner kick from the keeper mishandling the ball. 2nd Half New cargo was all over us with very pressured passing and some incredible feet from some of there players and brought it back to a draw. The last 10/15 minutes of the game was back and forth with some unbelievable saves from both keepers final whistle blew ended in a draw but that doesn’t matter. What a game from both teams very proud of our kids! WELL DONE CARGO 🟡🔵🟡🔵🟡🔵

U12s match report✍️Sunday 26th April 2026

Cargo Fleet u12s vs North Ormesby u12s (Friendly)

Today our lads played a friendly against north ormesby the game got underway and straight away Cargo were right at it moving the ball nicely and making chances and as always Kilo got through and slotted the ball away making it 1-0. From the restart cargo putting alot of pressure on Doggy and some nice football from the back to the midfield and Kilo going down the wing whipping the ball acorss for Jayden coming into the area and flicking the ball past the keeper to make it 2-0 great work from the boys. The game got back underway and it was a nice battled game with north ormesby having a chance or 2 but couldn't take advantage shortly after that Kilo doing what he does best beats 3 defenders and makes it 3-0 unbelievable 🔥

Half time 3-0

We made some changes at half time the game got back under way it was a great game to watch with both teams going for it the subs matching the intensity but unfortunately Doggy pulled one back catching us on the break 3-1. But cargo doing what we do best got the game by the scurff of the neck again and started playing lovely football again and the ball got whipped across from the wing with Archie arriving on the end to it making it 4-1 that was archies first goal for the club and it meant so much as hes worked so hard for this. His team mates and parents made a massive roar unbelievable moment for Archie well done . This didnt stop hear with Cargo going all out again to get more goals and again Archie arriving in the box to get his 2nd goal 👏 great finish and another great moment 5-1. As the game got closer to the end we all started realising that this is the last game we will play this season Kilo got on the ball and ran through the full team to make it 6-1 .Kilo didnt stop there and bagged him self another goal 7-1 what a player.

We've got the 2nd best defence in the league with Kilo scoring a whopping 52 goals for the season well done son

This morning we had a joint coaching session based purely on match play.
The teams played against each other in a no pressure setting, just learning and having fun playing football with their friends.
Every player worked really hard and played some outstanding football.
