U13s Match report
Cargo v Grangetown

Today we were playing a strong grangetown team we knew from the off this was going to be a hard game. From the off both teams were straight at each other playing lovley football it was a great battled game strong by both teams 👏

Plenty of chances in the game and unfortunately Grangetown took the lead, our team responded well and was still creating chances finally Kilo puts 1 away and pulls us level. This game was one of the best I've watched in a long time by both teams with 5 minutes left to play we broke off a quick throw and caught Grangetown off guard and Eman smashes one past the keeper to put is 2-1 up what a turn around and unbelievable celebrations when that 2nd went in the game finished 2-1 thank god 🟡🔵

Man of the match was harley , what a performance he came on in the 2nd half and changed that game today well done son brillant

2nd man of the match was Max outstanding in goal and quite easily kept us in the game at times with a unbelievable double save 👏

Today our u13s paid our respect to the chairman and his family after unfortunately loosing his Nan 💔 thank you to Grangetown for showing their respect🟡🔵

⚽ CARGO FLEET U14s | MATCH REPORT

Not our day today unfortunately, with the lads going down 5–0 against South Park Ranger Blues.

The scoreline isn’t what we wanted, but what matters now is how we respond. The boys gave everything they had, but at times we simply didn’t play with the confidence, intensity and belief that I know this group is capable of.

There’s no point dwelling on it. We dust ourselves down, learn from it and get back to work. 💪

Training on Wednesday is about getting back to basics, working hard for each other and getting back to playing the way I know these lads can play.

We know what we’re capable of. We’ve shown it before, and we’ll show it again.

Heads up, lads. Keep working, keep believing and keep pushing each other.

WE GO AGAIN! 🟡🔵

U15 vs Hartlepool stags

We new this was going to be hard one with stags sitting top and last years games been close.
We started off well but then conceded off a corner with some sloppy marking then went fell to peace's conceding 2 more times from corners and some more bad defending. Second half we where a lot better with Ryan pulling one back from a smartly finished free kick but they got one more to finish us off 5-1

We were host to a very strong stockton town blue today. The 1st half was very end to end but stockton took the lead early, fleet battled on and eventually our striker harvey scored 2 fantastic goals to end the half even.
2nd half stockton came out stronger putting alot of pressure on us.
Stockton pipped us at the post with some well taken chances in 2nd half.
The game was very physical with excellent sportmanship from both teams.
Brilliant support from the side lines from every parent, coach and supporter for both teams.
Harvey - player of the week
Isaac - man of the match
Good luck to stockton blue for the rest of the season

Cargo travelled to the sports village to play Riverside Juniors Athletic.

An electric start for Cargo seen them take an early lead through some amazing passing from the whole team. Cargo started unbelievably and started to find the rhythm with some really well worked goals in quick succession and this meant they went into the break comfortably.

Cargo started great again after half time by scoring a couple of more goals in great fashion. Riverside did bag themselves a couple of goals after this with some great attacking play and competing really well but not enough to turn the game around after an amazing team performance for Cargo.

Cargofleet allstars u9s match report ⚽️
Today we hosted a game against a very good Billingham synthonia whites u9s team the game started off slow for both teams both had good chances to score but it stayed all square untill a very good peace of team work the allstars pulled a goal infront after that goal the allstars were on top and scored again with lovely bit of football.
After that goal Billingham picked they heads up and started to be the better team scoring 2 to make it all equal at halftime.

Second half got on the way and Billingham couldn't cope with the allstars press and determination to win every ball the allstars scored again to pull one in front then Billingham came back at us and scored to make it all equal again with a couple of minutes left to play the allstars got all important goal to win the game.
Opponents player of the game was betty outstanding from her today 👏
My player of the match melvin he didn't stop running and winning every challenge 👏
⚽️ what a turn around this team has made 5 wins in 5 games well done allstars we go again next week 💛💙

U10s match report.

Today our U10s travelled to Kader in search of their first win of the season despite playing some good stuff in the last 3 and not getting what we deserved. It started as more of the same as Kader went straight through from kick off and scored a well worked goal.

After that though it was all cargo with us moving the ball well and creating chances. Eventually our hard work paid off as Olly put one in from distance and we didn’t stop there. Ethan producing from close range, followed by Alex. We then made changes and CJ our newest player got about and grabbed one for himself.

Second half was more of the same as Alex grabbed another 2 and completed his hat trick. A great win for us. Thanks to DML Landscaping and MG Ceramics for the sponsorship.

Cargo vs Eaglescliffe Elementis (HOME)

Cargo went into today’s game wanting a redemption and that we did. Straight from get go it was pressure pressure pressure from Cargo within the first 5 minutes Cargo took the lead from Lincoln. Minutes after Blaine pinged the ball from half way line and smashed it bottom left. Just before the whistle blew Bobby put the ball bottom right after some beautiful pass and play.

2nd half went under way and it was pretty much the same putting pressure on them and reacting from there mistakes having another 3 goals put at the back of the net.

💙💛Cargo u11’s Allstars v Redcar Athletic💛💙

What a game from these lads today!! Brilliant performance from them all. After the past couple weekends it was like watching a completely different team on the pitch today and the best win we’ve had this season!! Each and every player deserved the recognition today and couldn’t fault any of them!

Managers player - Rhys Oxendale🏆
Today was one of Rhys best games this season. He was all over the pitch playing as midfield, then defender then taking the role as CDM. He took on each role like a trooper and even bagged himself a goal!!

Parents player - Oliver Burns🏆
Again this player was all over the pitch, getting into space waiting to receive the ball. When he lost the ball his head didn’t drop he ran his socks off and got the ball back and when he did he followed it with a worldie of a goal!!

Opposition MOTM- Jackson Billings🏆
Each week this player impresses either us or the opposition. He played a brilliant game today even scoring a goal. He did take a couple of knocks off the opposite side but as always still have it his all!!

⚽ Cargo Fleet U14s 5–0 Billingham Synthonia U14s ⚽

Not the easiest game for the lads today, with the windy conditions and smaller goals making things difficult from the start.

Despite the challenging conditions, the lads kept their focus and worked hard to come away with a 5–0 victory. 💪

Ste opened the scoring, followed by goals from Riley and Dec. Ste then grabbed his second before Riley completed the scoring with his second of the game. ⚽️⚽️

A great team effort from the lads to get the win and keep a clean sheet! 👏

MATCH REPORTS U16S

Under 16s Match Report

Game was evenly matched during the first 5 minutes. Leven managed to create the first chance of the game from a corner. From the resulting corner and poor defending by the team, Leven went 1-0 up.
Straight from the resulting kick off Cargo went on the attack and a cross come shot from Saxon and a fumble from the keeper the ball ended in the back of the net, 1-1.
The game again was evenly matched but, the boys started losing their individual battles.
Leven went on the attack and Cargo made a silly mistake and gave away a free kick for handball. From the resulting free kick, Leven we set up for a rebound off the keeper and that’s what happened a tap in to make it 2-1.
10 minutes later Leven managed to get another corner and made it 3-1 (no body marking up and a free header).
With a minute to go until half time, from our own free kick, Leven keeper collected the ball and route one from the keeper made it 4-1 at half time.

After out half time team talk about losing individual battles and the attitude was all wrong from the team. They were asked to go out and win their own battles and show a much better attitude. Both teams created chances in the second half and some better decision making from the boys,(holding onto the ball for far too long or trying to be a world be**er). The boys did win they own individual battles and attitude was better, but the game was lost in the first half.

Full time Leven 4-1 Cargo

Well done to everyone today great games 🟡🔵onto next week

Cargo Fleet U9s vs Hartlepool St Francis Royals.

Cargo started off very quickly with a well worked team goal passing from the back through midfield and to the front who finished with a tidy finish!

Cargo then pressed on with multiple goals in the first half again worked well by the team.

Hartlepool did manage to get a goal which came from a long kick from their goal keeper to their attacker who hit a high ball from the half way line. Cargos keeper got a hand to it but not enough to keep it out of the net.

2nd Half - Fleet started on the front foot again with some very quick attacking goals and some fantastic saves from the Hartlepool St Francis Team aswell. Cargo finished the game off comfortably with a great display of passing and attacking football.

Player of the match and hatrick hero tommy what a performance infront of goal today keep up the hard work 👏⚽️

U10S MATCH REPORT

Today we visited Middleton Rangers. The lads and lasses knew it was going to be a tough game as these are the best side to have remained in our league. We started well and scored a good goal from kick off. Middleton then controlled the game for the majority but Ethan was holding the ball up so well and running the defence ragged- unlucky to not score a second. Eventually Middleton scored the equaliser and they were on the front foot. It was back and forth throughout the first half and eventually we conceded a second- through no fault of our own.

The half time team talk was about keeping our cool and playing our game. Second half was immense from us. Alex again capitalised on the battling from the top end of the pitch and we were pushing the agenda. The second half was end to end action. Not much control in the game but so many chances for both teams. Middleton got their nose in front with 4 to go and from then it was all hell for leather. With the last kick of the game Alex scored a beauty free kick.

Fantastic game from both teams today and a good advert for U10s football. Plenty of goals and the game played in great spirit.

U11S MATCH REPORT

Today we come up against a good team in Hardwick we’ve played them a few times preseason but today was always going to be different and the kids knew that !

We started strong good passing and high pressing, it wasn’t long before the pressure become to much for Hardwick and we went and scored our first, shortly after that we went on to make it 2-0.

Second half was fairly quite a few end to end battles but nothing major defensively really strong midfield strong attack strong overall good performance from everyone

Well done U11s 🟡🔵🟡🔵

💛💙Cargo u11’s Allstars v Hartlepool stags💛💙

So today wasn’t the result we wanted but the team still gave it 100% which is all we ever ask for. They started off being pretty evenly matched before Hartlepool took the lead. Then kicking the game back off the boys seemed to settle down more leading to an equaliser within a few minutes. Then at the restart these boys took control immediately leading to them taking the lead going into half-time. Coming back out there heads dropped a bit after Hartlepool then equalised and the boys just seemed to struggle after that. Overall they gave it their all like they always do and still came off the pitch smiling.

Managers Player - Caden🏆
Once again this week he was all over the pitch helping the lads where they needed it and getting straight back into his position ready to go again. So well done Caden

Parents Player - Henry🏆
Again this week Henry was another player all over the pitch getting his passes into the right spaces for his other team mates, also being one of the first back to help the defenders so well done Henry.

Cargo fleet u14’s vs Whitby fisherman

Cargo started off on the front foot with Kenton scoring a long range goal from outside the box after some tidy football. Straight after the restart, cargo piled on more pressure , didn’t let Whitby get out of there half and again after some tidy football Steven managed to get himself on the score sheet with a tidy finish. Cargo were relentless on the attack and shortly added a 3rd with Levi tapping in from close range. Whitby then won themselves a corner and got themselves a goal back with poor defending from cargo fleet. Then on, cargo knew they had to switch on, with some great football down the left hand side, George managed to get the ball right across for Steven to header in his second of the game. Yet again, cargo piling on the pressure , Declan picked up the ball from just passed half way line dribbling it past 3 or 4 people to put the game to bed. After a few attacks from cargo we won our selves a corner , which Kenton put away from a lovely cross of Declan. Cargo got another corner with was delivered in nicely from Kenton which George struck and hit Whitby defender and went in.

What a great start of the season

U15s vs Belmont united
Our 1st game back was a nice drive out to Durham and we didn't get the result we wanted . Both teams struggled throughout the game to find there feet . We snuck in front with a goal that Will lankshear would have been proud of with Ollie W been in the right place at the right time for a tap in from around 6yds. But we lost our focus and conceded 2 before half time . Then we won a corner off our best play of the game and it was whipped in to the back post by Kaydan B and there defender couldn't do nothing about it and it came off him to make it 2-2. Belmont kept at us with a long ball and caught us out scoring the winner from a ball over the top.

Cargo were on the back foot for around 15 to 20 minutes till the lads started to pass the ball and play football just like there know they can, cargo started getting through on goal with 1 or 2 chances to take the lead but failed, then with the game been played in the middle of the park cargo got themselves a corner around the 75th minute, with a really good corner put in from alife w then there was callum to meet it with a header at the back post 2 1 cargo fleet u16, for the last 5 minutes cargo had to dig deep and see out the game and get the result, 2 1 cargo fleet 🟡🔵🟡🔵

U11, U11A’s & U13 - Match Report - Sunday 6th September 2026 ✍🏽

Cargo Fleet U11s VS Newton Aycliffe U11s

Us managers couldn’t of asked for a better game they all done unbelievable and left there hearts on that pitch.

Straight from the get go our team knew what to do put pressure on them and retaliate once NEWTON messed up to attack it the whole first half was CARGO attacking and attacking. Our first goal came from a beautiful run by Bobby who slotted it into the box for a finish off Ollie, straight after that they was many chances just couldn’t find the net until Ollie Bobby Lincoln & Blaine had a unbelievable pass & play moment which Blaine slotted the ball bottom left.

2nd Half started and was back and forth from CARGO and NEWTON with 7 minutes to finish NEWTON put the ball at the back of our net bringing them back into it. Straight after CARGO knew they had to do something which led to Ollie taking it around 3/4 players to placing it bottom right with 30 seconds left of the game.

Unbelievable to see our kids put so much effort in and made sure we got that win. On to the next one 💪🏽⚽️

UTCF 🟡🔵🟡🔵

Cargo fleet u11’s Allstars v Billingham Juniors

So for these lads it was their first game of the season as well as being new to the club. As always every time they play they make us proud and make us love what we do for the team.
So we started with playing some great football, passing when they needed to pass, getting into space waiting for the ball then for some reason the passing just disappeared from the game!! We dropped off and struggled to get back into the game. Unfortunately the kids didn’t get the result they wanted but they still put their all into it which is all we ever ask. They started to come back towards the end of the game where they managed to bag a goal.

Parents Player of the match goes to Johan. Today he was absolutely outstanding. He was like a one man wall in defence every ball that came to him he cleared, made some amazing tackles. For example he tracked back, caught the player up and put in a mint slide tackle 🏆👏

Managers Player of the match went to Caden. Today I don’t think this lad stopped, he ran his little legs off for his team, beating the midfielders and helping the attackers to get him back and beating the midfielders yet again to help with the defenders. Couldnt of asked for more from him today🏆👏

💛💙

U13s match report✍️
Sunday 6th september 2026

Today our u13s in a new division travelled to Redcar Athletic a team we've never played before well straight from the off our boys dominated the play and found our self's a goal to the good with a lovley run by Kilo who put the ball across the face of the goal as jayden was arriving in the box he hit the ball towards goal and Eman tapped it in great play by the boys. We didn't stop there we kept pressing and creating chances but unfortunately off a corner we give away a pen to make it 1-1 half time

2nd half we made a few changes as the kids done a 8.5 mile walk from the Club House to Redcar that didn't stop us and fair play to the team who battled with Kilo running towards the box you know they is a great chance of a goal and what did he do put the ball away 1-2 it was a well battled 2nd half from both teams putting a 100 percent effort in what a watch as the time was running out our lads battled well to keep the lead and found our self's on a break to score our 3rd goal of the game with a lovley finish by Eman for his 2nd 🟡🔵

Well done Jayden who got man of the match by us he was fantastic today moving the ball taking it in his stride and covering every inch of the grass today.

Well done Kilo who got man of the match of their manager he was brilliant the ball control and the pace this lad has got is amazing took his goal well and took it on him self to drop back in centre midfield and see out the game and putting his body on the line for his team great effort well done
