🏆 Player of the Match 🏆

1. First Player of the Match goes to Bobby! Absolutely outstanding today in goal. Swept up brilliantly and made some fantastic saves. Well done Bobby! 👏

2. Second Player of the Match goes to Carson! The birthday boy was outstanding at the back. It’s a new position that he’s had to learn but he’s come on leaps and bounds. Some huge tackles and some great passes to get his team mates into some great goal scoring opportunities. Well done Carson! 👏

See you all Wednesday at Southlands for training ⚽️

The boys battled really hard on a tough, windy Sunday morning in Skelton. We started the game really well, took an early lead and looked on top. After that there was a few silly mistakes that the boys will learn from and bounce back.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH

OPPOSITION MANAGER
The manager from Skelton gave player of the match to Nathan. Similar to last week he got stuck in, battled hard and had numerous opportunities to score. Luckily he took his chance with one of the last kicks of the game to make it 3 goals in 3 despite him whinging at the ref! Well Done Nathan! 👏

PLAYER OF THE MATCH
My player of the match went to Mason Mills. Every week Mason comes and works his socks off. He can play in numerous positions, he’s not scared to tackle and is always looking for a pass to his teammates. He was inches away from scoring today but when it comes I’m sure his smile will be even bigger! Well Done Mason! 👏

See you all at training on Wednesday!

A very good close competitive game this morning. Both sets of boys battled really hard and played a very good game. Lots of positives to take away!
Our boys worked their socks off with all players being involved whether it was scoring, assisting or clearing it off the line.

Today’s player of the match I couldn’t give to just one player - so I chose two!

First we have MJ. Worked his socks off the whole time he was on the pitch. He scored two really well taken goals and cleared one off the line which was outstanding. Well done MJ! 👏

Secondly, we have Nathan. The last 2 years Nathan has been known as the statue. However the last 2 weeks he has been outstanding. He’s not scared to tackle or take a man on and he capped off with another really good team goal. Well done Nathan! 👏

Hope to see you all Wednesday at Southlands for training.
