The Newcastle Panthers are holding an inter-club friendly, with 27 members signed up and ready to go!

But this one is about more than football.

We’re proud to be supporting the Alan Shearer Foundation Move a Mile campaign, with ALL proceeds from the match going towards this fantastic cause.

The Move a Mile campaign is aiming to raise £1 MILLION to help build a second hydrotherapy pool at the Alan Shearer Centre, supporting even more people with disabilities and their families. 🙌

GFSN CUP | PRELIMINARY ROUND

The first game of the season, and despite a depleted squad, the Panthers made the trip to Manchester to face CanalStreetFC in the preliminary round of the GFSN Cup. 🏆

What followed was an end-to-end battle, with both sides refusing to give an inch. After 90 minutes, the scores were level at 2–2, sending us into the dreaded penalty shootout… 😬

Thankfully, the Panthers kept their cool from the spot, winning 2–4 on penalties and booking our place in the next round! 🐾🔥

A huge thank you to Canal Street FC for hosting us and helping make it such an entertaining game - followed, of course, by a night of plenty of drinks, laughs and dancing until the early hours! 🍻😂🕺

And finally, congratulations to Owen, who put in a fantastic performance to be named our Panther of the Match!

Pre-Season Matchday this Saturday!

Our first game of pre-season sees us take on the amazing Team North Charity Football Team!

There are another two matches taking place after ours, so make a day of it and come along to support a fantastic cause! 🙌

On the day you’ll find:

🍕 Only Food Not Horses serving great food
🎟️ Raffles
🍺 Cold beers

Every penny raised will go to The Newcastle Children’s Hospital Foundation, so any support or donations would be hugely appreciated.
