🏁 Your final 2026 BIKC Heavyweight Local Final results 🏁

Apologies for the delay in posting this! I had this post formatted slightly differently. Throughout today, I'll be uploading the final results as a post for each category for Facebook. Day 3/3 - Heavyweights - Only one group, only one winner - equally fierce! 🏎

I would like to congratulate all drivers, one last time, for making it down on the Thursday. All around solid drivers, all around good chaps, going head to head to qualify for the Regional Finals. Nick 'Quizzy' Harding found himself Grand-Slamming the day, topping the Practice, Qualifying and the Race Leaderboards, with last year's champion Kevin performing an incredible comeback to land 2nd on the podium, followed by Kingsley Nanton in 3rd, then Huw Roch, Carl Braxton & Ryan Hardy, rounding off Team Reading for the upcoming Regional finals, held at Teamsport Birmingham.

A pleasure to watch you all shine through, in the A-final... Take a bow, Heavyweights! 👏

A special shout-out to Thomas, our designated CLO, for keeping 4-groups worth of drivers happy, maintaining transparency with any questions or issues, and orchestrating smooth-sailing sessions & group + kart draws, with your hosting prowess.

Myself & Ben were the individuals conducting our BIKC fleet test. With only myself driving, and a very sore back afterwards, I managed to set laptimes in relatively quick succession & conditions, to bring our SODI RSX2 Adult fleet, all to within, 3 tenths of a second. Ben also managed to make sure ALL karts were in working order, with no karts out of action, on the day! A job well done! 🫡

A follow-up email should be landing in your inboxes soon... this was your admin's first time running BIKC this year, with a lot of changes planned in comparison to the last couple of years. Any feedback from your side, would very much be appreciated - emails to write to, are mentioned on the last slide!

🏁 Your final 2026 BIKC Middleweight Local Final results 🏁

Day 3/3 - Middleweights - Arguably the most competitive grid, of the senior categories! 🏎

I would like to congratulate all drivers, one last time, for making it down on the Thursday. This was a bookie's category to fear, unable to predict a winner. Last year's winner, had their work cut out for them, with this year's A-final being one of the most intense watches, this year. Callum Jones being crowned the Middleweight Local Finals Champion with a pole-to-flag victory, but the story goes deeper than that, with how incredibly competitve our A-finalists were throughout - a thoroughly deserved victory! The respect from drivers all-around, on and off the track, demonstrating an exceptionally-high calibre of drivers, that put themselves up to their paces on the Thursday - the Top 6 drivers in Qualifying, were all split by less than a tenth. Unbelievable effort, Middleweights 👏

A special shout-out must be given to Thomas, our designated CLO, alongside Head Mech, Ben, alongside all of our crew for running a, near-on, flawless, but yet thoroughly enjoyable day of Championship Racing. Our SODI RSX2 Adult fleet test results, all being within, 3 tenths of a second. Ben also managed to make sure ALL karts were in working order, before the main day, with no karts out of action, on the day - a job well done! 🫡

Day 2/3 - Lightweights - First of the seniors, bringing the heat! 🏎

I would like to congratulate all drivers, one last time, for making it down on the Wednesday. This group had the most amount of drivers, competing in their very first competitive championship, and it was all around firm, but fair racing! The top 3 on the grid, stuck to each other like superglue throughout the A-final - only to be split by +0.7s across the line, with Harry Harper taking the pressure well and coming out on top, as our 2026 Lightweight Local Final Champion.

Take a bow, Lightweights! 👏

Day 2/3 - Juniors - FULLY BOOKED UP RACING!! 🏎

I would like to congratulate all drivers, one last time, for making it down on the Wednesday, the track was ON ANOTHER LEVEL - we all debated breaking the 29-second barrier going into this day. We didn't just see 5 drivers break into the 36 second laptimes, we saw 20/24 drivers break their all time PB's - all less than a second from each other. Nobody found themselves outside the 30 second laptimes - how unbelievable is that, then?? Take a bow, juniors!! 👏

Our lap-record was smashed from practice - and then 1upped SIX TIMES during the course of the event, with our up-to-date Lap Record holder now being:

🟣 Archie S - setting a 29.714 second laptime, in the B-final nonetheless!👏

Day 1/3 - Cadets! 🏎

I just want to congratulate all drivers, one last time, for those making it down on Monday, the track was incredibly ramped up with you all setting laps over our racing line, setting our track alive with Lap records being smashed from as early as Group Practice!

Our lap-record was smashed three times over the course of the event - our up-to-date Lap Record holder now being:

🟣 James W - setting a 36.844 second laptime

We saw 5 Cadet drivers into the 36 second laptimes. In Speed 3 racing, this is absolutely incredible - take a bow!! 👏

A special thanks must be mentioned to Callum, our designated CLO for the Cadets & Juniors, hosting an incredible 2 groups' worth of racing - even finding time behind the Microphone, for live track commentary! No mean feat, at all! Matthew and Ben were also behind the closest (... and quickest! 🤐) Cadet fleet test we've managed, with our Bizkart Ecovolt Cadets, in constant service since 2022 - I think they deserve a proper shout-out, on that note! Top job, gents! 🫡

Massive thank you to all drivers who participated in Qualifying this year. These are your final results, from the Summer Qualifying period.

Didn't make it? Do not fear. Most people don't even try in the first place - the fact that you can say you participated in the first place, is a huge, huge achievement - doing what you love! Please don't be disheartened - feel free to read the information on the last slide of this post, for more information on what else is going on, here TeamSport Karting !

Those who have qualified, should have received their invites, as of 09:45am, this morning. Please check your emails. In the rare eventuality, that you haven't received an invite, when you have qualified, please get in touch to Sahib's email (mentioned below), and we should be able manually do it for you!

FINAL BIKC Qualifying Update (as of 27/08/2026 - 11pm)!

🚨LAST WEEKEND (2 DAYS LEFT) TO QUALIFY FOR THE LOCAL FINALS!! 🚨

Everyone's names are back on the leaderboards, as per multiple requests!

Any questions about anything BIKC-related, or any general Members' events queries and bookings - feel free to send an email across to [email protected] - as DM's/Private Messenger aren't always monitored!

Every thousandth of a second matters. For the JUNIORS table specfically - I have highlighted in bold, those that are within the qualification zone (Top 24 drivers). All drivers within this zone, have submitted their 3 laptimes - this means that the only way anybody can get themselves into that qualification zone, is to beat their average laptime!! Get yourself down before 00:00am on 31st August, to use your VERY last chance to qualify for this year's Local Finals!!

➡️There is ONE MORE Members-only Session available - 20:30pm on Sunday evening. Only available for Drivers aged 13 or over.

➡️Race Academy Intermediates (out on track for 10:35am) has limited availability. Race Academy Advanced is fully booked!

➡️There are 3x 50-lappers available. This is your last chance to make the most out of the 'LAP50' code at checkout, for 50% of 50-lap races. They are: 08:00am on Sat 29th & Sun 30th, as well as 09:05am on Sun 30th August.

🚨LAST WEEK TO QUALIFY FOR THE LOCAL FINALS!! 🚨

Admin has rushed this post, just to get it out before the end of the week for you all - it's nice and simple. If you:

➡ Do not see your name on the tables
➡ Have your name highlighted in either YELLOW or RED

Your invite to Teamsport Reading's Local Finals (to have a chance of advancing onto Regionals, then Nationals to prove yourself amongst the best drivers, Teamsport Karting has to offer!) is AT RISK! Please refer to the RED, YELLOW and GREEN text on the 2nd image in the gallery, to see events on this week, which give you your best chance, in putting a competitive enough time to lower your average down to beat:

➡ BENEDICT P's CADET average laptime of 40.028 s
➡ ALFIE W's JUNIOR average laptime of a 31.408 s (💪)
➡ No cut-off for any category yet! Set 3x laptimes on our 2-floor track, on 3 separate days, to qualify! Drivers names' highlighted in Red or Yellow need to submit more laptimes to qualify!

This is your last chance, drivers! Maximise those laptimes, and i'll be looking forward to seeing the drivers with their invites to the start of their journey!!
