Today we had a group of 3 girls, probably early-mid teens, come in and play games together and enjoy some time in the cafe.

Not only was it so nice to have a group of polite and friendly teenagers hanging out, enjoying wholesome social activities, and proving that most of them aren't "up to no good"...

But on top of that, our 4 and 7 year olds (who think they own the place) decided to join them uninvited and "teach them some games".

These 3 girls were so welcoming and charming and kind with our young boys. They included them in their fun and were just lovely.

We thanked them before they left and told them they should be proud of themselves, but they smiled and shrugged it off (as teenagers do).

If these are your children then thank you, and well done, and we know you must be proud! ❤️

Tomorrow! 💚

Tea, Talk, and Transition is back tomorrow, Wednesday 5th August at 7pm, led by Sian from Positive Minds.

If your little one is starting school this September, you're probably feeling all sorts right now. Excited, nervous, maybe a bit teary if we're honest.

Sian will be guiding an honest, supportive conversation for parents navigating this transition, including those supporting children with additional needs.

Come along for tea, talk, and a room full of people who understand exactly what you're going through.
